My experience transferring units

My experience, in general, was very frustrating, stressful, disappointing, and BAD!
From the moment I was notified of the move (not to mention being given only two weeks (when the facility has known for months they have to vacate the building), to the process...all was disorganized and discombobulated at best—quite the opposite of my experience with the former Chelsea Storage management when it came to this type of event (moving/ storage transfer).
Although Nathan and Shane did the best they could to provide information and were quite professional (but sadly not in charge to be able to act more effectively). I found the manager’s lack of knowledge, experience, customer service/relations, and effectiveness rather alarming and frustrating.

Weeks after the move, no one reached out to update my lease. I had no paperwork, whatsoever, to indicate which are my storage spaces. Although they did send a follow up email for auto-pay, even though I had set it up by phone previously.
The email communication from the manager, to this date, lacks clarity and raise more questions than information provided.
The movers were satisfactory, although the making of the moving arrangement (handled by Storage Post) was rather unprofessional. After only giving a two-week notice, which I was trying to accommodate with much difficulty and at a huge inconvenience (loss of time), then they put it off as they could not figure out what movers to use! There was no communication/ follow ups as to the status (I had to keep calling to find out if/when the move can be organized (even though I gave several workable dates and time).

As a long-time customer and unfortunately to my dismay, having had to move several times (for leaks, for various constructions, for avalanche of dust- 5 times now)...this by far was the worst experience I have had.

All members of the staff with whom I…

All members of the staff with whom I came in contact was professional, responsive, and so very helpful! They made my visit painless and seamless! "O" and his team did a great job moving my organization's property out of the storage units in preparation for the building's move. Thank you Derrick! Very friendly crew.

The Pelham manor location is absolutely amazing!

The Pelham manor location is absolutely amazing! Dealt with the manager Zoe. She helped me get everything I need to pack my things away. It was a great experience would definitely be recommending this location to friends and family!

Lights out.

This past Friday, 03/29/19. When I was moving in my stuff there was a dead mouse inside the main level where the garage door is located. I came back Saturday morning, still the same dead mouse there, no one cleaned it up. It was there until Sunday, and I had to pushed him out of the entrance with a stick. When I rented the storage I was asked for 24hour access, and I was told that it was okay. Saturday night like around 11ish pm, when I was putting stuff away, all the lights went out, and I was left in the dark, I had to put my stuff away with no light what so ever, none of the lights were working at all. I called and left a voicemail and no one got back to me yet at all. Wish they would’ve call me back, and help me. When I went upstairs to the main level floor the lights had went out too, and now the garage door was out too. It wasn’t coming down the electricity was gone upstairs. The only thing working was the elevator. So when I called and no one answer me, I had to close the garage door manually, because I didn’t want to leave it open. Really wished customer service was a bit better, and actually call me back. Thanks !
