I've not yet had time for work & family reasons to alter anything . Having read the material, I can say I'm already impressed.
The sewing refresher guide alone is full of information over & above what I would consider a 'refresher'; it's full of information I should have been taught when I started sewing at school years ago, and at an adult education course recently. I was mostly self-taught after that poor start - I can't wait to get going again and do it all properly.

It feels very straightforward and authentic. I am gaining the confidence I didn't have before to alter those clothes I need to alter.

Really great content, easy access to course material and community. Im really enjoying going through the videos and love that I can just go back and rewatch (many times) at my convenience. I never intended to do alterations when I started my sewing journey last year but after having some garments thrown at me by family I decided to actually learn...and I love it,this course will be perfect for me. Don't hesitate to purchase like I did

I haven’t finished all the classes yet since I’ve been hobby sewing for years and have already started altering my clothes, especially adding pockets to all of my non-tight dresses, skirts, and pants! (Done ~20, ~60 more to go!) But almost immediately upon joining, I encountered an issue that I just couldn’t figure out and went on the forum to ask for advice. Other members and admin all chimed in with really informative, detailed answers vs what I normally get from Facebook sewing groups with 1 sentence answers - repeatedly. Couldn’t find anything online either since search engines spit back suggestions & videos that were approximate but didn’t quite work for that particular project. It was a waste of time Googling, honestly.

I feel like that alone was worth the enrollment fee!!!

I had video playback issues. The company gave me clear and detailed instruction to identify the issue. Within a couple of emails the issues was resolved and I could work my way through the course. Emails were answered in a quick and friendly manner. I would definitely recommend.

I had a question about the course and they were 100% honest about their answer! I went ahead and signed up for the course even though the answer wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Honesty means everything!

As a self taught sewist, I love making clothes, but, this course is teaching me about the structure of clothes and how to look at garments to find the area that needs altering which isn’t always where it seems. Not only am I learning a new skill, but improving the one I have. Very good value for money, worth every penny.

Teresa, the founder of Stitchedfits (UK), is a force to be reckoned with! Firstly, the course is focused on a myriad of clothing alterations, clearly explained and demonstrated in clear, narrated videos. It also provides a couple of free handouts/resources that are tremendously helpful. Course access lasts for a lifetime! Accompanying the course, Teresa has built a priceless Community of sewists who provide mutual peer support, celebrate wins (with the ability to post pictures pre- and post-alterations), and represent a lovely group of people from around the globe. Many of them, as in my case, have been sewing for decades without ever feeling comfortable about how to do clothing alterations successfully.

Using the Contact page, I sent a message to Teresa about a personal need for alterations to accommodate a recent post-surgical body change. I received a prompt, compassionate, and thorough response on a Sunday! I look forward to the many ways that I will benefit from both the course and the Community.
