Stichting Zilver helpt armlastige asielen in het buitenland, geselecteerd op sterilisatiebeleid, lokale voorlichting en zorg voor de dieren. Ook helpt Stichting Zilver bij rampen zoals bijvoorbeeld de overstroming van het asiel in Orihuela in 2019 en de oorlog in de Oekraïne begonnen in 2022. Ook herplaatst Stichting Zilver honden en katten uit diverse geselecteerde asielen die passen bij de doelstelling van de stichting. Wij hebben daarvoor diverse opgeleide vrijwilligers, vergunningen en registraties. De dieren reizen allemaal legaal en worden ook op legale wijze herplaatst. Adoptanten mogen na adoptie gebruik maken van gratis ondersteuning en nazorg. Dieren die via Stichting Zilver geplaatst worden zullen altijd teruggenomen worden als de adoptant vroeger of later niet meer in staat is om zelf voor het dier te zorgen. Daarvoor hanteren wij in principe een 24 uurs beleid. Stichting Zilver heeft een ANBI status en alle bestuurders en vrijwilligers doen dit zonder enige vorm van beloning. In heel uitzonderlijke gevallen, bijvoorbeeld een vrijwilliger financieel krap zit en een klein beetje hulp goed kan gebruiken, zullen wij een bescheiden vrijwilligersbijdrage geven, passend binnen de regelgeving van de Belastingdienst. Stichting Zilver is geregistreerd bij de RvO en volgt de regelgeving van de NVWA op.

Very professional people

Very professional people. Great communication and support throughout the whole process. It really shows that they care about the animals as well as about the adopters.

We just adopted a lovely little dog…

We just adopted a lovely little dog (Rocky-3) from stichting Zilver. We are super happy with the conditions and health he was in, with lots of thanks to all the people and volunteers at Zilver and for their dedication. We are also very impressed by the professionalism and personal touch we experienced during the adoption proces. Thank you!

The Silver Foundation's tireless lavor

The Ziver Foundation works tirelessly for and for animals. Part of its work is to find homes for many dogs and cats but also helps the shelters with which it collaborates by supporting them with donations, food and belongings.

Good team, great assistance

We have had lots of experience with Stitching Zilver as a shelter they work with. Our animals always get lots of attention at arrival and even after adoption if there's such need. We have always been informed of the health and psychological condition of our animals there. Extra care has always been provided when needed. Adoptions have always been corresponding to the personal needs and wellbeing of the animals which is the main point of the adoption process. Finding a good match is a hard work when you really care. And that's the case here - the team of Stitching Zilver care about the animals and try to do the best to give them wonderful lives. Adopters can always count on getting advices, tips and help in the welcoming process of the new family member. The workflow with the foundation is easy and quick. They are always responding if there's an emergency and their reactions are adequate to the situation.The help and assistance of the team is priceless! We have always been treated with respect and understanding! Thank you Stitching Zilver 🩷

A brilliant rescue to work with!

We have been working with Stichting Zilver for several years and we are so proud of the association we have with them. We have sent dogs and cats to them and they find brilliant homes for them! Their professionalism and dedication is never in question. We always have excellent contact with them and follow up also. We see many many follow up images of our happy dogs and cats. Nick, we know you for over 10 years by now and you do marvelous work as volunteer in the shelter. Thank you so much for that! You and your colleague volunteers really make a diffence for the animals in your shelter and we know you go outside that shelter as well to help animals and humans. You are a marvelous person and it's a pleasure to be alowed to work with you and your colleagues. We will always follow the wishes of the shelter how to place an animal. You see them when they have the bad times, being left and broken. You fix them. Only little part we can do to help them to their next fase, we do with big pleasure.

I live in Spain where we collaborate…

I live in Spain where we collaborate with Stichting Zilver. They adopt dogs and cats from the shelter which I volunteer. We have a very good relationship with them. We also receive wonderful donations from them.
Stichting Zilver does an amazing job for the animals and sometimes I wonder where they can find so much time in one day to work, it's almost as their day has more than 24 hours.
We are so lucky to have Stichting Zilver as our collaborating partner.♥️

Thank you for your kind words Nils! You are right, we don't sleep a lot. But what is sleep when you can spend the time to help the animals in the shelters. And we are very gratefull we get so many donations to send. And, you send us all these lovely creatures, waiting for their new homes in their cages. You make the difference in their life by walking them, encurage them, love them, feed them, clean them and give them medical treatment. Thank you for al you do on that side of their lifes. You make a big difference!
