Con Artists

Con Artists. Steves Plumbing sent a guy named Anthony Benevides to my house in the Hilo area to consult on catchment water pump options. Anthony justified the $3k price quote by saying the pump “goes for” $1.5k or $1.6K and he may have to move piping. Expensive but I need water. Turns out I can buy the pump at two places for $1k. Anthony didn’t move any piping but he took my $3k. So I’m complaining to the Hilo Manager Fred Gampong for a credit. Fred strings me along for two weeks with hope and comparisons to oil changes and half eaten steak dinners. Stay away from Steves Plumbing.
