Interview for relief worker
I had an interview for a basic relief support role. Although I have applied through their website, and indeed there was a big confusion with my CV. It was bouncing back and forth. The HR person called Michael and clearly has no interest in employing people who have qualifications; he asked me 2 times to fill in the forms that were already provided to them. The interview was shallow with generic answers, scoring points, and no real passion or empathy is needed for these jobs. They pay £13 per hour and are based on first come, first served, which is pretty much shameful; no one should be fighting for their shifts in the 21st century. This is not the mediaeval age. Apparently I did not score well enough on my interview, although I study relevant courses and have a level 3 diploma and skills. However, when asked for feedback, I was faced with a rude response from Michael, and my comment was not approved on Indeed. So watch out when reading comments; they are written very likely by their employees. I was truly disappointed, as I am genuinely there for the vulnerable people, and my work is not valued.
