Pleasant reception in the queue at the parking lot and inside the hallway by our rooms. The welcome drink is a nice touch.
It was nice that we had two chairs in our room; on the outbound journey, only one. The à la carte menu could have a bit more choice. Unfortunately, the menu was exactly the same as on the outbound journey.
Travelling with a dog with Germanica. The pet deck was very unpleasant. The "box" for dogs was dirty and wet. I would recommend that you use gravel or sand for the box instead of fake lawn. Also the deck was very flooded. I understand that it has to be washed, but it might be a good idea to get rid of the excess water. I didn't bring my rubber boots with me.
Very positive experience throughout including the booking process, the ferry to and from Ireland and the customer service team who assisted me at Belfast port when I had some car parking issues which resulted in me missing the ferry back

What made the experience particularly good was the stark contrast of attempting to get somewhere first by plane (Lufthansa strike) and then by a succession of cancelled and delayed trains (Deutsche Bahn) compared to the relaxed and compeltely hasslle free trip from Kiel to Gothenburg. Relaxing from beginning to end and a great way to recover!

Onboarding process was very long. I had to pay 90 euro because of a roof top tent.
But worse was the fact that the lady in the information counter on board could hardly speak English. So I had booked a dinner at the all inclusive restaurant but was sent to truckers where there was no wine or nothing because she didn’t understand English properly.

I had a comfy cabin on the night crossing from Liverpool to Belfast and arrived refreshed in the morning.
The only suggestion I would like to make is for guest services to be clearer about the bus into Belfast City centre. There is a "Bus Stop" right outside the terminal building but the Number 96 bus picks up at the TRANSLINK sign on the main road, around the corner! This could be made clearer, perhaps with a small map.

After booking the wrong crossings, was impressed with Stena staff who moved my bookings & even managed to get me a cabin for our overnight sail home.
Staff in customer services, lounge, shop & bar all really friendly & helpful.

I had mistakenly booked the stranraer- belfast-stranraer trip tge wrong way round. On arrival, the woman at check in ensured we were on the ferry, and the booking changed. On the ferry, the woman who was checking people in to the pet lounge was so helpful! Ypur staff went over and above for us. 👍🏽
