I got approved for a grant in feb/march…

I got approved for a grant in feb/march 2020, loft was done within 2 weeks. Still waiting for the heaters and wall insulating, no one told me I would need eco 7, so paid for this 157.00. Spoke with Ryan, Simon, plenty more people, sent emails, no reply. I spoke with the government people and they said to complain to whoever they got the grant off, they are saying they don't know who they get the grants off. Simon a couple of weeks ago said, because of all your complaining your heaters will be coming Wednesday! Did they come, ha no!! Rang again and Ryan in a meeting, then to be told they have no heaters and no delivery till Feb. Can't wait for a reply to this
UPDATE:
The company rang within 5 mins of this review, wow. Said they would be here today! Nowhere to be seen. Rang and he said he will ring installers and get back in 5 mins, never rang back, I've been ringing all day and no answer. I've give them all day to arrive and now writing an email to ripoffbritain and also consumer rights. I think I have given these companies who work together enough time from feb/ March 2020 until Feb 2021 to be able to take the government's money and not do the job

I did say that you’re right. I just rang the storage heater company and gave then a good ear bashing! It was late on a Friday afternoon 22nd Jan correct? The storage heater company didn’t transfer your install date to their fitters and they never received the job! They are about to ring u now and book u in. Deepest apologies. Human admin error.

Up to speck loft

Just had loft insulation done in my house by three young men Dewey, Nicky, and Jorden. They were very quick clean and knowledgeable. Would recommend this team.

My mum had loft insulation put in today…

My mum had loft insulation put in today 28/1/21. Ken and Josh were polite, friendly and helpful. Ken explained everything to my mum and I nothing was to much trouble. I would highly recommend Stellar Energy 100%, Amazing guys!!!

We installed loft insulation and a brand new boiler system at Anne Marie’s house. They had no loft insulation and only terrible electric portable panel heaters. The Landlord got the gas supply connected from the street and then we installed brand new radiators and a boiler.

Had a survey done beginning of December…

Had a survey done beginning of December and one week later loft insulation installed! Problem is I initially made contact regarding storage heaters, survey was done for this and grant approved and it still hasn’t been arranged! No contact made despite numerous emails to Ryan Stanton! Some contact would be good please. NOT great customer service!!

UPDATE!! So after this review they magically phoned and got us booked in. The night before they were due to be fitted the installer (self employed) phones me to warn me that apparently we have only been approved for 3 heaters despite needing 5, and that if he came he’d need to take all five older style heaters leaving us with only heating upstairs!
This was never communicated with us and now I cannot get hold of anyone again! Kamran has not returned my call! Absolutely disgusted with the customer service of this company!
UPDATE 2!!
How can my house be warmer and cheaper to run when the work hasn’t been carried out! I have now contacted another company to try and get them fitted.

Unfortunately, Ryan has been in and out of the office in since December due to reasons relating to Covid 19. However, we have provided the initial part of the service for you. The second part of the service, that being storage heaters, will go ahead. I will see to that this week ahead. You will get a phone call Monday 18th January. We ask all clients to remain patient in these testing times. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes in any company right now, and a lot of businesses have been adversely affected. UPDATE ON SUNDAY 30 JAN 2021 - we fitted the loft insulation for you as promised. We always answer your calls and have done so since the start of the process Ms Hickton. The storage heaters are installed by another company. We are not the registered licensed installers of those. You are dealing with another company through a chap called Kamran. They are the ones that advise you on the upgrade of your heaters. If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know. Your home must be a lot warmer now than before. It must be cheaper to run and as promised, and we have fulfilled our part of the grant. Stellar Energy has great customer service and you can see this throughout our Trust Pilot reviews. Loft insulation

A quick, professional and polite service. They fitted the loft insulation and cleaned up behind themselves in about two hours. All done under the eco3 scheme. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service fast and polite advised on what needed doing got on with it with in a day of being told what was needed after the serva rang the day b4 to tell me when were coming and rang b4 they turned up got on with the job installing the insalation no fuss fast and with quality workmenship very tidy work and cleaed up after them self... thanks guys

Heating installation.

Good service from Simon and his team, very hardworking lads, polite and helpful and at all times covid safe. Our house now much more cosy and warm and very grateful to you all. Again many thanks. This would have been a 5 star rating but for a couple of minor problems which were successfully sorted by the team.

Please Avoid!

I spent months going through the application, I had received the grant funding according to the company only for them to turn around and say I was no longer entitled without even giving a reason why. I asked for a call back for a further explanation but of course I haven't received one. Extremely disappointed

Absolute con artists 😂

Seemed very legit, had people come and access and even went as far as to provide loft insulation, I was told my application for an upgrade on my heaters had been approved so I just waited to hear back. After a couple of emails with no response and 3 weeks past, I rang them today for them to inform me that the rules have changed this week ahaha and that the application can’t go any further. To me it is highly likely that they are claiming the monies from the government but not carrying out the work.

Two lads came to put our insulation in this morning and 2 hours later they're away, insulation complete and my hallway hoovered.
