After a lot of research we decided to pick Stellar energy. 1) Because of the good reviews and 2) Because they are a local company. Unfortunately after a promising start I feel we have been wasting our time. Communication to start was excellent bordering harassment to be honest e.g receiving text and emails constantly during the first phase. Unfortunately after the survey things have gone down hill and they have completely ignored my numerous messages and emails sent on a weekly basis ( Having read the other 1 star reviews it is obvious that if you property isn’t worth looking at you get the cold shoulder) We had our survey on the 12/6/25 and we are still waiting 8 weeks later to see what’s going on!! Does the next stage take this long?? Why don’t you answer my messages/emails?? I wish I had gone elsewhere to be honest. Very disappointed after excellent communication during the first phase. If our property isn’t suitable for the work then please let us know. Diolch!

surveyor came and assessed the proprty
i was then told a week later something along the lines that our project didnt fall in to the parameters of their scheme - but this may change - i was given no details why
i was not given the outcome of the energy rating
i asked for this information but i have had no reply
we are currently trying to sort our heating and hot water for the winter
could you please explain to us why we dont qualify so that we can address this going forwards - you told us all providers are different but we have been rejected again and we need some ideas as to why - as we do qualify i understand
date of exeperince - todays date given but i have been trying to get a reply to the questions in my e mail for the last few weeks

Had a survey, was told I would hear 7-10 days, been 8 weeks later, had a email to say can they hace access to my medical files! I ring them stating I still haven’t heard regards survey, ? They said they would ring me back within 24hours… nothing…
With the above mentioned… I would not dare go forward in getting this company to do any work as I see red flags waving like crazy!!! Stay away people
Yes you have spoke to me and offered me a £50 voucher to take off my review .
It was offered if I was to take down my review .. I have messages and photos to prove it… not wasting my time on here…
Avoid this company at all costs . I am not the only person who seems to experience such poor communications and dread to think the workmanship would be like ?

Mr Moran, I have just checked the full communication with you on our system.
1. We sent 2 x emails on 23rd June. Requesting more documents that were not provided on the survey to grant the funding.
2. We then rang you twice in a row on June 25th.
3. Then you rang in and Joe said he would call you back. We do apologise for not calling you back but the communication has been good up until then.
If we can move forward on Monday morning ?
Update :
We said that your property doesn’t qualify after a “subject to survey” assessment. Due to our good nature we offered you a £50 voucher. Not all clients pass for a grant, nothing gained nothing lost. That’s the honest feedback. Leave the bad review there if needs be but you don’t actually receive any services from us for a successful grant application. You can see that others are very happy with our full services when they qualify.

We found Darren & Rhys of IWI Installers to be very professional, with a good work ethic and the plastering they did for us was second to none. We would highly recommend them if you are having work carried out by Stellar Energy.

Insulation and heat pump all installed to standard contractors by Stellar Energy. Insulation work, excellent and can keep the whole house warm. Solar saves money in the summer. Highly recommended.

Although I haven’t had the solar panels for long, I must mention that the installation team, particularly Dylan and Andrew, were outstanding. They arrived around 8 AM and worked non-stop until the job was completed in the afternoon. They were not only skilled but also very helpful and knowledgeable.

Technician arrived within the expected time window and started surveying while waiting for other crew members. They arrived shortly after and finished installing panels and wires in under three hours. Wires were neatly routed through walls and attic.

While it's still early to judge, the entire process has gone smoothly so far. The sales representative was personable, informative, and not at all pushy. The installation team today was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the whole experience enjoyable.
