I was exstremly dissapointed with the quality of a recent jersey purchase . The issue is that after sending you 5 emails you have not replied . I have done everything required to get the return form to you by email & a paper form . Which is in the parcel which have had packaged ready for 4 days .
All i need is your EORI number so there are no complications with customs .
I was exspecting a great service from you

They have scammed me out of 7500 Euro. I left my Colnago Goldbike 1979 to them for sale for (commission). The bike was sold around New Year and my share according to the contract is 7500 Euro. Alexander Bisaliev the owner does not answer my emails. He has scammed me out of the entire amount.

I have purchased many parts for my personal “vintage” bikes, but rarely have the experience of Steel Bikes. The part was exactly as described, with photos, so you knew what you were about to receive, which is not always what happens when you buy “online”. I have received parts that were not operable, broke and even worse.. With Steel Bikes I received honest quality, rapid service, and great shipping, what more could you ask! Bought, cancelled and repurchased a nice De Rosa, within a few days. I had great and fast communication with the team over e-mail, very professional and accommodating. In my last order I have received a different item from the one I ordered. As soon as I contacted The Steel Vintage Bikes Team, informing them about the issue, they helped my with information on how to package the item and how to send it back to them so I can receive the right one.
Through the entire process I was updated via email regarding the order status.

Order one stock component, pay one day later by prepayment.
Lead time on the web page is 4 to 5 days.
After 4 weeks still no status information … because 50% of the employees are in vacation.

Immediately fulfilled special requests. Bike was perfectly packed and arrived undamaged. Quick delivery. Beautiful bike, as advertised.

I recently purchased 2 books from Steel Vintage Bikes, (THE VINTAGE BICYCLE and THE VINTAGE RACING BIKE) which incidentally made interesting and excellent reading. The contents of these books contained significant and previously unknown to me information from our recent historical past coupled
with great photography depicting elegant and nowadays difficult to see vintage racing bicycles.

The entire process from contact, purchase, payment and shipping was smooth and on a friendly and professional level. Communication was impressively responsive too.

Packing was excellent and the books arrived in such good order all the way from Berlin, Germany to South-East Queensland, Australia.

Shipping was amazingly swift and my books arrived in no time at all.

The service was very good, customer service also very good and helpful. The bike frame is great, the tires not so great since were for a city bike instead of a road bike and afer 70 km they had to be replaced because got bent. overall still very happy of my vintage bike.

Found a purple Olmo with Campy Racing Triple gear in the midst of all the other eye-candy at SVB. Perfect for the hills and mountains around Moab, Utah, where the bike will reside. SVB was completely responsive to my questions, request for more pictures, an equipment change-out, etc. Bike came quick, well packed. Great experience.

Very responsive and informative. Great website and selection with lots of information about the bikes. My gorgeous Bianchi was shipped with meticulous care across the pond to the other side of Canada. It was in perfect shape when it arrived. Easy to assemble too. I wish I could afford another vintage bike because the process of buying one through SVB was a blast!

The only surprise was having to pay 10% import duty on a second hand bike when it arrived in Australia. The commercial invoice created the need for the duty. I wish I had have known earlier so a different set of paperwork could have been provided stating "used" steel bike vs "Vintage". Bike was in great condition when it arrived.
