Customers beware

Customers beware, you’re in for a scare. Quality is really poor. I paid for the top tier plan and the stylist consultation was a total joke. Clothes then arrived and were really low quality (e.g. 100% acrylic sweater, almost entirely dress clothes that were stretchy with spandex and whatnot), nothing fit well everything would have had to be tailored. And then they have a policy of no refunds (which I knew, but I was not expecting them to fail to meet the service expectation so significantly). 0/10 would NOT recommend

Customer Service is good at best

Customer Service is good at best. No one answers the phone, and you have to make an apt to speak to anyone. None, ZERO, no one brand of clothes I have ever heard of - when I asked if they carry, Vinyard Vines, no, do you carry Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Tommy O, it's like shopping at Way, way way off Sacks, unknown designers. Oh yeah, you CANT'T return just "EXCHANGE" which takes forever and is more of a hassle than Macy's after Christmas. Honestly, a good concept, but you're better off taking a friend out who has some fashion sense and paying them to help you.

What an actual hassle

What an actual hassle. It's literally easier to order online for yourself and then there will be no hassle sending back what doesn't ft, which for me was everything. To me the appeal was to have someone curate a wardrobe, if that's what you think you are getting you are mistaken. I was sent a jacket that was 46R and I'm 6'1" 48L which is what I told them specifically. I was told they only have regular sizes, what? So all your customers need to be short and small? After telling me they won't have my size they sent me a jacket anyway (head scratch) that said 48 L but it was not. I brought to a tailor to see if he could fix it, guess what, nope! So now I have a jacket that doesn't fit and can't return because tags are off. What the actual f&%? I feel like they got my $500 and they just sent anything they had.

Save your money

What went right? Absolutely nothing. My preferences and statements were completely ignored. I received clothes. It didn’t fit me, didn’t fit my style, and felt ripped off. The return policy is ridiculous.

This "unc" gets Gen Z compliments now.

I've been very pleased with my experience with Stately overall. I started the subscription at a time when I needed to make a change, I was feeling quite down on myself, so I started investing in my appearance to try and give myself a little boost. Concurrently I started investing sweat equity in my fitness, eating differently, and taking skin care seriously. This was 6 months ago.

In that time, Stately has consistently sent me products that help me feel sharp and confident. Even more, I have changed sizes repeatedly over the time I've been working with them, and been diligent about updating my style profile/sizing. It is incredible how accurate Stately's stylists have been in responding to those changes and sending me clothes that fit me and look sharp in the changing body I'm in. They also noticed how much I've changed, and applied a promo to my account so that I could get a few free outfits to replenish my wardrobe as I've left pieces I really loved behind.

Their team is supportive and responsive, the pricing feels like a steal, and on the rare occasion where I've not liked a product or it didn't fit, they are quick with sending a different piece, usually not even asking for the unfitting item back in return.

In my most recent box, my stylist included some pieces that I would never have pulled off the rack to try on. I'll admit that when I opened the box, I was a little nervous/disappointed. The vertical stripes on the one shirt was, like I said, something I'd never even think to try on...

... but then I put it on, and layered the suggested overshirt over it with the included pants...

I literally said "Oh..." out loud looking in the mirror.

I'm a 38 year old manager of Gen Z staff. I am firmly "unc." I never get compliments on my clothes. I wore that outfit to the office the next day and three of my staff made a point to compliment my outfit. Not just the outfit I had on, but how I'd been dressing in general lately. One even said "You've been killing the Fall outfits lately!"

So here I am six months after beginning my relationship with Stately, I am feeling more confident, looking great, I have a wardrobe full of items I enjoy wearing, and I haven't had to put effort into shopping for my body as I pursue my fitness goals outside of the gym wear I workout in.

Very happy overall, give them a try, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
