Bad Neighbors
Disrespectful, dishonest, lazy jerks can't possibly be confused with good neighbors.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

We’ve been loyal customers of State Farm for over four years, always paying on time and trusting we’d be supported if something went wrong.
Unfortunately, when we actually needed help, we were let down. We were given conflicting information, our concerns were dismissed, and a representative closed our claim without hearing us out or allowing escalation.
It was not just disappointing — it felt like our loyalty didn’t matter.
We’re sharing this not out of anger, but in the hope that State Farm will take a closer look at how customers are treated when they need help the most.

Our claim has been processed seamlessly. We have had the most positive experience blessed by the BEST team of our Agent John Wood and Claims. Special thanks to Seth and Logan at John Woods and to Claim's Inspector, Hank Elmore.
State Farm IS our Good Neighbor and we thank you for all that you do for us.
Terrible claims service. I was not at fault for an accident that totalled my car. Other insurance company moved it back to my Statefarm because they ran out of coverage. The other company had totalled my car 3 days after the accident. Statefarm moved my one of their salvage yards where their estimator low balled and then sent my vehicle to a shop...that took nearly a month longer, I payed my 20% of the rental fee until I had to come out of pocket for another week after they finally officially totalled my vehicle. I called my local agent the day of my accident and didn't hear back from their office until it was 2 days after my vehicle had been totalled asking if I wanted to move my policy to a new vehicle. But the claims team was literally call center people who had no clue what was going on with my claim anytime I called, it was always someone different. I was constantly asked questions about my vehicle that they had possession of and told to call the salvage yards and shop for information then call statefarm back. (Each of those places told me they communicate directly to statefarm and that I was told wrong by someone who didn't know any better, which was true) my insurance should've covered the cost of my carseat replacement from the get go, but every single time I mentioned it I was told "once subrogation gets started you'll be able to add that on and should get it back with your deductible and any other out of pocket costs". When my car was a total loss it went to one person who was assigned,, who said the same thing about my carseat and did not respond after I accepted the payout (I needed it to go towards a vehicle purchase)...I am a single mom who works full time and had been without a vehicle for over almost 2 months. The app is useless, they are slow to update the claims information and it is always glitching. I've had different auto insurance companies and I can clearly see why statefarm is cheaper than others, because the service is the worst I've ever had. I am still considering litigation against statefarm for the multitude of misleading and misinformation. I would give negative stars of it were an option. I tell everyone to stay away for any insurance policy not just auto, because I've never had a more depressing, stressful, belittling, and disingenuous experience with any other company in my lifetime.
Statefarm continue to take our money and denied our homeowner repairs that was caused by wind and hail damage. I filed a lawsuite against this crooked company. 3/2024.
I advise you other customer's to seek avise from an attorney also.
