I honestly wish I had more time …
I honestly wish I had more time to poke around and getting to know everything Startups.com has to offer.
However, the connection I made that is really paying off is the one with Ed Kang.
He has provided me with the resources, time, and knowledge that I consider to be super valuable.
If I didn’t use the site at all and the only thing I had was Ed’s connection, my whole experience with Startups.com would have been worth it.
I highly recommend Startups.com to any aspiring Entrepreneur.

The training resources provided were very well thought out and presented.
Gaining access to people who have experience with starting up a business is extremely helpful in getting the foundation of my business started. Everyone is very supportive and willing to share their knowledge and experiences.

My experience with STARTUPS.COM was excellent.
I participated in mentoring sessions and educational tracks, and definitely see it as a great opportunity of growth for founders and startups!
Extremely helpful support from Joyce!
Quick Support
We were able to get our campaign going within one day and support responded quickly while being extremely helpful.
Great experience| Making progress
Overall I've had a great experience. Ed goes above and beyond to support me. I've made significant progress towards my goals and have a lot of action steps I am acting on.
The one critique so far is that I'm not seeing familiar faces each week. I don't know if that is the nature of founders just being busy but I've been really consistent and it feels like there are few people that are. I'd love to see how others progress over time.
Great value for the money
Value for the money is great. I’m only at validation stage, but the platform and people you get connected with have been incredibly helpful so far. And I can see the resources and introductions they offer being even more valuable as we evolve and mature.
Incredible Experience so far.
I'm a 5 year small time entrepreneur. Working with startups.com has offered such an incredible community of driven people. The community has been so validating and has given me an incredible sounding board of people working on products to bounce ideas off of and network with.
Absolutely love the one-on-one sessions…
Absolutely love the one-on-one sessions with the mentors I've had. They're sounding boards, advisors, and confidants, all in one. In particular, Ed Kang is skilled at navigating not just the logistics of founding a company, but also, and probably more importantly, the emotions that come with each of those stages. There are also tons of other resources for founders at all stages and experience levels. It's a tiny investment that has proven ROI.
11/10 ABSOLUTELY Recommend
I absolutely love startups.com! Everyone is so kind, helpful, and knowledgable. It has been an amazing and vital resource for both my startup and me; I don’t know where I’d be today without them. 11/10 DEFINITELY recommend to any founder, but especially for first-time founders.
Founders Groups are invaluable
The startups.com team is simply excellent. I've gotten more value out of being a part of the founders groups than I can say I was able to pull from contacts over the past 10 years. It really accelerated our shift as a company into who we are today. They give you real and practical advise, mentorship and resources that all combine to help build a solid foundation for creatively navigating this crazy space we call entrepreneurship. The community that is all active is the other major part to not discount here too. So many stories and so much advice. Everyone is willing to lend a hand to help each other out.
Had a great experience with Ed Kang
Had a great experience with Startups.com and specifically with Ed Kang. I found Ed to be very professional, friendly, and knowledgable about general business issues. He was great as a sounding board to bounce off ideas and also suggested creative ways to solve problems . Ed was specifically helpful in assisting me to Recruit a staff member, he made 2 great introductions and I hired one over 1 year ago, and is working out great! Overall I would highly recommend any new or seasoned business owner to join Startups.com if you are looking for a collaborative community, a mentor to assist you with solving a myraid of business issues or meeting like-minded entrepreneurs. Thank you so much Ed and the Startup team.
Always valuable feedback from experienced advisors
Ryan, Wil, Ed and the rest of the startups.com team are amazing people that really want to help you and guide you in the right direction. I've run several startups over the last 20+ years, so I probably have a different need set to fresh founders, but I still find a lot of value in being a part of the program.
For me, the most valuable part is being able to schedule a call with one of the advisors any time I need input on an issue. Booking a time is easy, availability is generally high and especially Ryan has given me incredibly valuable advice that affect my startup in a great way. Having that experienced person to give a different perspective really helps to make the best decisions.
As a founder you need trusted advisors…
As a founder you need trusted advisors and peers. Together they keep you focused, informed, and action oriented. I've gotten both from working with Startups.com. They have helped me move from an ideas to product build (my current stage) and have offered loads of advice, feedback, and contacts along the way. I wouldn't be where I am without them. Use their coaches & join a founders group!
Plus the people are awesome!
First Time Female Latina First Generation Founder
Startups.com has been an incredible resource and partner. The vast collection of resources and real time access to founders is what sets them apart. As a founder start up, resources are not always available and many times you don't know what to ask or expect, especially when you are a first time Latina founder. The team has made me feel seen and their technology makes me feel like they are always available to provide guidance and support whenever I need it.
I highly recommend this Startups.com to anyone looking to start a business. Worth the investment!
Great advice, great people.
Our company has spent tons of money on "advisors". We've gotten more in a month from Startup.com than we did from them.
CPG Food&Bev Founder Review
for someone who came in knowing little to nothing about startup life, this community has taught me a great amount of valuable information that I have applied to the growth of our company.
Would highly recommend
Valuable experience and support
When I first decided to lean into entrepreneurship, an old friend who had already built and exited his company asked me in a very serious tone, "are you sure?"
Truth is you can't really know the ups and downs of the startup journey until you're in it all the way. It's both exhilarating and terrifying.
With Startups.com, you're never alone. I've found experienced mentors who offer valuable strategic insight and emotional support. Recent structural changes to the organization have made connecting to resources and fellow founders even easier.
The answers to your questions are here for the asking.
Worth every penny
We signed up for Startups.com approx. 2 months ago.
We'd been struggling with creating our pitch deck and felt a little lost as to what to do next.
Decided to sign up for the package that includes the 1v1 advisor option.
We got bounced around a little bit in meeting our advisor initially. Apparently they had some internal reshuffling and there was a slight delay.
After we met our advisor, we've had nothing but incredibly positive experiences.
Huge caveat... like with most things, you get out of it what you put in. Never felt as this was pitched as a hand holding service and that is definitely true.
The introductions our advisor has made for us have been invaluable. The workshops have been great to learn and share experiences with other founders. The learning modules are great as we can review as many times as required.
I imagine we are only scratching the surface of value we will extract from our membership, but feel we have gotten much more value already.
Founder-led insight and advice
Founders can get all kinds of guidance from people without founder experience. That's a tricky proposition because well-intentioned advice can lead to devastating outcomes. That's where startups.com is different. Startups.com resources come from *lived* experience — as founders. It's practical, insightful, and helpful. Way different than a book or theory someone shares. Startups.com provides relatable guidance from founders who've been there and done it. From one founder to another, that kind of insight and guidance is invaluable.
