I needed an eye exam for Motor Vehicle
I needed an eye exam for Motor Vehicle. The staff at the Santa Fe store were wonderful. I was able to get eye exam the same day I walked into the store. Dr. Goodman was able. to refract my eyes by remote control. It was amazing how it worked. They also have the latest optical equipment that checked for everything from photographing the retina to testing for dry eye. The doctor saw the results of each test and was able to complete the refraction. Evelyn, in the store, went over the results and provided excellent customer servicce. I was very impressed with the entire process. Stanton Optical also offers complete glasses at an extremely good prices. My eye exam was very comprehensive. The charge was $74.00 which I consider to be exceptionly reasonable considering all the tests, the doctor's evaluation, and the refraction to get a prescription for glasses. The documentation I received allowed me to renew my Driver's License.

Did not realize that I would not be…
Did not realize that I would not be seen by a real doctor. Only a tech running me through a series of machines. I did not understand that I had to purchase 2 pairs of glasses to receive the free exam. Waited 2 weeks for glasses I couldn’t see through. Then waited two more weeks to have them remade and Instill couldn’t see through them. The associate named Twinkie was very nice and as helpful as she could be. But Inwill never return or recommend Stanton Optical.

Good experience but there is room for improvement
Likes: good attitude by the staff; thorough eye exam; quick turn around on getting your glasses
Dislikes: Lack of communication between the staff and the lab? I needed glasses for computer work ( from close up to arms length) and hit reading glasses instead.
I have not had any issues in the past with your company. There is room for improvement.

Good Product, Poor Service
I was happy with the glasses I bought, but the wait time for my exam and and the technician being overwhelmed due to short staffing made my purchasing experience bad. It took too much time. I also felt like you tried to upsell me and get me to buy overpriced things like 20+ dollar drops for dry eye that are available at major retailers for 5-6 dollars. Finally, my glasses are great but they were far more expensive than I had anticipated.
