I had a terrible experience with Stanton
I had a terrible experience at Stanton Optical on 191 in Odessa, Texas. I was told my glasses would be ready in about two weeks, with an estimated completion date of June 20. It is now well past that date, and my order is still showing "in progress." There has been no movement or update in two days.
My order was nothing complicated. The only upgrade I selected was the TruBlue coating, so I do not understand why it has taken this long. Communication has been poor, and no one has given me a clear explanation for the delay.
When you spend money on something as important as prescription glasses, you expect the business to honor the timeline they give you or at least keep you informed if there is a problem. Instead, I have been left waiting with no answers.
I will not be returning to this Stanton Optical location, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable service.

Was made to pay full price for an exam even though I have insurance and told me my prescription was on hold because my eyes were to bad .. even though I was told when we went in that even though they don’t have eye doctor on site that it’d be like a teledoc appointment.

Staff, Knowledge, & Care
Maddison was more than knowledgeable and extremely helpful in getting me what worked best for me, financially, quality, and quantity. You don't know what all goes into purchasing glasses/contacts, until you know. Thank you Maddison, Nick and staff!
Staff was well kept. Fun and friendly. Ive been going to this location for a few yrs already and its been a great experience every time.
The only negative was the lack of wipes for cleaning frames to try on.
I was told that, that was going to be addressed asap. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Great job!
