I was very excited to use Stanton Optical for my eye exam and purchase my prescription glasses, however, the way that it is advertised online and inside you store makes you think that your patients will be saving a bundle and has the opportunity to get 2 pairs of glasses for a reasonable price. Now I'm not naive enough to know that there will be additional costs when it comes to lenses. But, what no one is told when they are there is that there is a very slim chance almost 0% chance that you will qualify for those advertised specials. First of all, I was made to believe that I needed progressive lenses, with bifocals, and those do not fall upon any type of special that you can get your glasses at. Secondly, I am being constantly asked if I wanted to buy a certain enhancement drug to help with my vision that ended up costing $98 and also trying to sell me glass cleaner sets in order to keep glasses maintained after I had stated that I had saved up money in order to purchase a pair of glasses. Then I was told I would get refunded on my eye exam after I was told I had to pay for that before I shopped for my glasses only to be told after my card was ran and my money was taken that I did not qualify for the two for $79 which was a little unsettling but yet the woman up front named Shantel did not seem to want to empathize at all with her very stoic and uncaring way about herself. I would think that if you are dealing with someone face to face in a Hands-On environment and you want to have a customer service position at any company or business you need to have people skills which this woman possessed none of. She never even smiled, nor was understanding about the fact that no one coming off the street with a set amount of budget for the entire experience there but yet can't afford all of the "add-ons" that they want to push on you and make you feel obligated to purchase. It was even more unsettling when it was 100° in that room while trying on different frames and I had mentioned that it was so hot in there on several different occasions but yet she did not apologize and she did not try to make it more comfortable in the room, in fact she did not even comment on the fact that a paying customer was sweating bullets but yet she sat there in the most stoic way that someone should not be sitting in a customer service role. I do not appreciate being shaken down for as much money as they can possibly get out of me, I find that to be terrible business and not being receptive to what your customer has budgeted in order to buy glasses. When my glasses were ready to be picked up, that's when I was able to receive adequate customer service because Shantel was not working that day. I had been not looking forward to picking them up, but when she was not there that day and a very nice woman who was very courteous and was very friendly and showed me nothing but wonderful customer service made sure that I was taking care of my glasses fit perfectly and sent me on my way and made me feel good before I left. This review is only going to get two stars because of the terrible experience I had financially as a consumer, but zero stars go to the lack of people skills, empathy, and customer service that was completely missed on that day. The two stars come from the fact that the woman who called me in a very friendly way to tell me that my glasses were there to be picked up and then walked me through how my eyes would adjust to these new glasses before I walked out the door. It is a huge scam that you are running just to get people in the door, until you start working with people and laying out what they have to spend when they first get there, then don't continue trying to screw them over as the time goes by.

The service was great! Just wished they would’ve put in the fine print that the 2 for $79 special wasn't for people who have bad vision such as myself. For example, the frames and lenses are plastic. So the worse your vision, the thicker the lenses, the heavier your glasses will be. It just wouldn’t work out for me. I did end up finding some frames. I’ve had them for 3 weeks now and I’m still satisfied. The ladies helped me a lot with the style of my frames and were phenomenal. I would go back again.

Quick, coordinated, and cooperative care! Everyone involved was readily available and very quick at work, including the eye doctor. Although the doctor operates from a distance, this does not disrupt care or complicate the conduction of eye examination! I was incredibly pleased with the services offered and will be trusting Stanton Eye Clinic for all my vision needs from hereon out.
I really let my new glasses. They are really comfortable and easy to use on a roller basis. I never had any place that has gotten my prescriptions right on point and has made it more easy uncomfortable to wear my glasses on on everyday basis.
