Stanton Optical - Anchorage Reviews 

The prescription I received for my contacts were -.50 less for my left and right contacts.

Original prescription was -2.50 right and -2.25 left. New prescription is -2.00 right and -1.75 left and my vision is not clear with them.

Fast service. Was able to get in quick, place was dirty and looked run down.

The glasses I received, which were two pair the prescription is totally wrong in one pair and the other pair the lenses were not good. Quality so I have to be back in in Anchorage and then they charge me more money to repair the glasses that were a poor quality so yeah, not very happy at all. They argued with me that the lenses in my new glasses were not the wrong prescription but they were so now I’m stuck with a pair of glasses with the wrong prescription.

I had to go back twice due to my payment, however, compared to the first visit - I got a higher quote on the second visit from the same girl and had to change my order. the girl gave me the option to have them mailed to me or to pick them up. I opted to have them mailed. I waited over two months expecting them to come in the mail, they never did. I called and they were waiting at the store. Then I tried them on and they are too strong. I spend 3x as much money as I would have paid elsewhere.

Glasses are fine. Working people were great with their service as pleasantries go. However, the one dude told me hes just here to do the work. Didnt go over paper work really and just showed me everything I had picked. The face time lady was hard to hear and understand. Maybe better mic or speakers? I probably wont come back. This was my second time and it feels like you just want money and not to help the customers get the best for what they need.

Quick and easy getting a prescription and nice glasses at a great price, received them pretty quickly as well. Been here before and will continue going my eye care needs here!

Started out with waiting for my appointment for 20 minutes. Fill out forms waited another 20 minutes. To start with the doctors procedure. It was not set up right couldn’t do it. Tech had to come back in and do it right. After I sucked in my classes, I was told that it would be twice as much as originally quoted because prescription did entitled me to the original $79 quote. Costing me 140. After all of a sudden done 2 1/2 hours went by. Would definitely not tell someone to come there.

I went in because I broke my glasses and needed either to have them fixed or to replace them, well I did not buy them originally from Stanton Optical because I live in Kenai Alaska not in Anchorage. We (my wife and I) were in Anchorage for my wife to have a brain aneurysm repaired. We were staying at a local hotel for the week so I was a little desperate and had heard the commercials about Stanton Optical having 1 hour service so we went there for the first time. I will have to say that the gentleman who helped me was very helpful and explained what they could do to help me, keep in mind this was a weekend day (Sunday) so I really wasn't very hopeful, but low and behold 1 pair of the two I had ordered was done in about an hour as the gentleman helping me said they would be and that the other pair would take a little longer due to the frames not being there, again I was tickled that I got the one pair and we arranged for the other pair to be shipped to my house when they were available. The next day I received a call that the second pair was done I was totally shocked and asked if I could come in the next day to pick up (because my wife was in surgery that day which was Monday) and was told no problem. Thank you Stanton Optical for the greatest service I could have asked for. I have both pair of glasses and they were a perfect fit. These folks are great!
