The website seemed so promising, but I started to get reservations in the booking process. Unclear communication both to me and internally. The booking process was convoluted and they put pressure on you to pay in order to secure a quote. I understand having to secure spots for their movers, but when I wanted to make simple changes it became an issue that I needed to resolve only by speaking to the manager. At that point I wanted to back out but it was within the 48 hr window which meant losing the entire fee. The movers were nice guys and even owned up to chipping wood off of a desk, but they were not physically built for the job and could not move two items of furniture. That ended up being another issue where the company wanted to send another truck with skilled movers who could disassemble but that would require paying for another truck and two guys. I ended up declining since I had a few more days to move out. When the movers packed up the truck their battery died. I only know this because the office had to call me. When I tried calling the mover to find out where he was, the guy who did not speak English mumbled something and hung up on me. I drove back and filmed the exact time they took off which was 1 hr 50 min from when they were supposed to be departing. Since I was on a time crunch and had to leave, my father in law was receiving the items. When I got back I see boxes labeled "Heavy" and "Books" sitting on top of boxes I labelled "Extremely Fragile" with "Fragile" tape across. About a week later I get an email from them saying the movers took longer than expected and they were charging me another £206 at the *Extra hourly moving fee of £97.31. They claim the movers were out of battery for 1.5 hours, even though I sent documentation and timestamps, to which I am disputing now. Even with all of the issues they showed no signs of helpful customer service and no willingness to discount. I'm a business owner myself so I understand them needing to make money and pay their workers, but most important is taking care of your customers. The kicker of it all is I ended up hiring another moving company to take the items Stackt couldn't and it was night and day. The other moving company came in with ease, true professionals, clear communication and they took the items in one go without disassembling for half the price.

Excellent Service - Highly Recommend!
I recently used this moving service, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and highly responsive. They were always available to answer my questions, which made the entire process so much smoother.
Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience so seamless and pleasant!
Absolutely amazing experience! We used Stackt for the full packing, unpacking, disassembly & reassembly removals service for the entire apartment with the addition of cleaning the apartment the next day and they delivered a great service. Also their agents like Emma being on hand and available both before and after the job. I’m so glad to have found them
I have so far had a great experience with Stackt both in scheduling and setting up their service and with the move itself. The 4 moving guys were very polite and followed all my instructions. They were effective and were done in less time than we had planned for. They added an extra hour and charged me for it when I added more boxes to the move, but the extra time was not needed, and they will reimburse me. I highly recommend their service. It's affordable and fair.
Easy move, they were quick and efficient, though no one was wearing bodycams like they advertised and the price was so high.
I've just had a nightmare with Abi from Stackt I asked for a quote for storage and she told me that they needed a postcode and an address and a list of the items I wanted to place into storage first which was fine but all the time I let her know that all I wanted was a quote and nothing else as I was talking to other companies too.
She then came back to me with a confirmation order thanking me for choosing Stackt which I never ever did I asked for a quote and that was it she was also pseudo aggressive saying that we want to follow up on your queries about storing your items to us and we want to know if you have decided on this.
My advice is don't use this company for your storage options as they'll try to confirm your order with them before you've even made a decision quote was high aswell compared to other storage companies dont use.

This company has a policy of reimbursing only £100 per item they lose or break. Beware of what you give them - every item I stored was above this amount (tv, mattress, even a large box of books), and when they shattered the glass of a large painting I was left to cover the replacement cost myself. This policy makes no sense. Beware of what you move and store with this company.

I recently booked Stackt for packing, cleaning, and moving. While the staff — especially the packing and removal guys — did a good job, it quickly became clear that Stackt is just a middleman, outsourcing the work through other platforms like TaskRabbit and taking a cut. Their website gave the impression of a full-service moving company with its own teams and vehicles, but in reality, everything is outsourced. The work was solid, but I could have hired the same people directly for less. This wasn’t made clear on the Stackt website or in the FAQs.
I came across a lot of overly positive reviews that don’t seem to reflect the experience I had which makes me wonder if these are all completely genuine and/or very carefully curated. I’d certainly now take them with a pinch of salt.
Another thing that left me slightly uneasy was the sense that the workers, who were clearly hardworking, may not be receiving a fair share of what I paid for the service. I’d have preferred to book them directly to ensure they were suitably compensated for their efforts.
Using Stackt gets the job done, but the added cost and lack of transparency make it hard for me to recommend. You’re better off booking help directly and cutting out the middleman.
On the 30th of October this year we had help from a team of five men from Stackt. Four of them help us to pack up our home, we are a family of four, and then a fifth man joined to help the others to move our belongings into their storage. They were excellent! Hard working, respectful of our belongings, kind and friendly. Everything went really smoothly. Three weeks later they moved us into our new house, we had the same experience then, just very professional and friendly.
We also moved our outdoor plants with them to another address and they handled that very well too.
The communication with the Stackt team before hand and during the move was also very good, easy to get hold of and they always got back to us if we had questions. We booked with them very last minute as the original plan fell through. I was very stressed, but they handled everything very well and I felt at ease very quickly.
They were the second cheapest moving firm that we got a quote from, we got a handful of quotes.
We highly recommend them!

I’d have given no stars if possible. Ruined my whole move with lack of communication and coordination. You are better off ordering an Uber for a move. Still waiting for my refund.

Unprofessional service, items came a day late.

We searched for a man & van company for a small 1 bed move across town, with no large furniture. Stackt quoted us £295 which was the most expensive quote we received, with no packing, no materials and no valuables insurance, and when I showed them the other quotes, which were much cheaper, for longer and with valuables insurance, they couldn't offer a better price, more movers, any extras or even an extra 30 minutes of van hire. I even asked about their 10% student discount which is on their website as my wife is a full-time student and they said no. Polite but no real service.
We ended up paying £100 less for more movers with a larger van for a longer time. Not worth the premium.

Cut the middleman! Stackt is essentially a marketing company that specializes in SEO (search engine optimization). They simply hire other less popular companies, while forbidding them to market their own business, and charge you extra for it. Their warranties are false and they will ghost you if any complications arise. Don’t ignore review like I ignored the others.
They charged me incorrectly for extra time: the start and end times were incorrectly marked. Additionally, during the move, one of my suitcases broke. After I brought this up they only adjusted the end time, and requested details on the broken item but then ignored all my subsequent responses and proceeded to charge my account without any additional consent (I imagine this was in their terms of service, so beware).
I’ve bumped the emails a few times, but don’t hear back. I’ve called multiple times in the last month and the folks over the phone are really nice and promise that the person in charge will reach out… but they never do.
I had my clean scheduled a good amount of time after the move. I began thinking that they wouldn’t even show up but they did. After the clean, Stackt staff magically reappeared on my inbox to charge me extra, yet again. This time for carpet cleaning (which I initially thought was included since their website makes it seem like so— “All our standard cleanings include dusting and washing of all reachable surfaces”). Fortunately, I used this opportunity to show my willingness to settle the accounts but was ignored once more and haven’t heard back till this day.
This ghosting was something I had read on the other negative reviews here at the time but ignored… As the marketing company I’m claiming them to be, this review will likely get wiped or they’ll reply below with some damage-control spill about meaning to reach out.

Unfortunately Stackt is just a website front that books random local removal men, they're not an actual removal company, they're a call centre.
I went through the process of filling out the website form, and was contacted by their customer support team to provide videos of my flat. They hugely underestimated the packing and moving time - they suggested it would take 3 men, 3.5 hours to pack my entire flat (without me lifting a finger), and they'd send 2 vans.
I didn't think this was accurate, so myself and my husband packed up 80% of the flat, leaving the furniture and the glasses/plates that needed to be bubble wrapped.
I also asked them to send some boxes ahead of time. They said they'd arrive during the day on a Saturday, and they didn't turn up until 9pm.
Despite my best effort to get an accurate arrival time for the removal day, the customer support team could not give me the time when the removal men would arrive. They cover their backs by saying arrival time is 9am-3pm, and that you can pay 15% more to get them to arrive 8-10am. This isn't helpful when you're completing, e.g. what if you want them to arrive at 1pm? There's no option.
One van arrived at 2.45pm, and the other van arrived after 4pm. The removal men were incredibly slow - they were clearly charging Stackt by the hour, which meant they had no incentive to actually complete the job quickly.
It took them 3 hours to wrap the plates/glasses, and to move the furniture, so I am confused as to how the original quote was 3.5 hours for the entire flat. These guys were not professionals - they left the floor absolutely filthy, and they were terrified when they saw they had to move wardrobes, beds and sofas.
They didn’t leave the second location until gone 10pm, and they hadn’t even taken the second wardrobe up to the bedroom as it was so late, which meant we had to do it ourselves.
In the few days after we moved, we found out that they'd actually left an item at the old property, which we had to collect, and that they'd also damaged a table (which isn't able to be repaired).
The website states they take all the stress out of moving - I genuinely don’t think they could have made our moving day more stressful. I would absolutely avoid Stackt, they're a complete scam. I would just use a local legitimate company that has good Google reviews.
Don’t be fooled by this company as they say you will have a delightful experience and they say they value your time but it’s a lie. They had me waited for 6hours and they wasted my time. They’ve only given me frustration and I was so upset. I had to give one star for the customer service people, as they were good, otherwise the service itself is not good. Now I am waiting for my refund which is another inconvenience for me. If I had to chase them up for my refund, I will post here again as so no one would be a victim and I’ll make sure to escalate this situation.
I moved from Paris to London. Since all my belongings were already packed, the entire process went as smoothly as possible.
The mover carefully documented my items, loaded them with care, and delivered them to a storage facility in London, where they were kept for a few weeks. Once I had moved to my permanent residence, my items were delivered within three days.
The movers unloaded everything and brought it into the flat in just 15 minutes. I also received a tracking link, allowing me to be prepared for their arrival.
All communication and payments were handled online, with clear pricing and terms. After comparing different moving companies, this was the most affordable option, and it also turned out to be the easiest and most reliable.
The van sent wasn’t big enough so I had to pay for a second collection. They still didn’t move the garden furniture which they were made aware of from the beginning. I booked an End of Tenancy clean with them as well but when the crew arrived they refused to clean. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Excellent communication throughout, I am very happy with the service provided. Thank you!!
UPDATED SINCE VENDOR REPLY Started off so well - transparent pricing and Collection on time but trying to get my stuff back was a challenge. Calls and emails go unanswered for days. Had to chase a bit to ensure assembly services for furniture disassembled by their team would be included in the delivery price
Expensive overall given the slow speed of customer services
I still only give them 2 stars because of the refund policy. Charged me for 2 weeks of storage for only 2 extra days for keeping my stuff

After several moves in London, my experience with Stackt was by far the easiest and most stress-free. From booking to moving day, the team was responsive and helpful. The movers arrived on time and worked fast, even in tough conditions like extreme heat and stairs. If you need a reliable moving company in London, book Stackt!
