I recently used Stackt Moving Company for my move, and I couldn’t be happier with their service! The team arrived even earlier than expected on the moving day, which was such a pleasant surprise. They were incredibly responsible and organized — sorting out all my items carefully, wrapping everything securely with bubble wrap, and handling each piece with great care.

Used Stackt to move my belongings back from university, competitive prices, helpful staff, useful tracking features. I didn’t have to use there storage capabilities so can’t comment on it but if it’s anything like the moving process I couldn’t recommend more. My brother, on my recommendation, also used them to move his belongings up to uni.

I used both their storage and moving services, and my overall experience was great!
I found their prices to be very competitive, and their customer service is really responsive and patient.
The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was that when I received my items back, they arrived beyond the 6-hour period I was told.
However, I ultimately had a really positive experience using Stackt, and I will definitely use it again and will recommend it to others

Avoid this company if you can
Avoid this company if you can. I used them last weekend and the movers were helpful and we completed the job 20 minutes early. I've since had money taken off my card without my knowledge. They have charged for 30 minutes additional time. Absolutely disgusting that they can do this and are demanding I prove this did not occur. They have the movers records of when the job was completed and still demand more money. Absolute robbers.

This was an honest miscommunication on our end, not anything intentional, but that doesn't make it okay. We should have handled this better from the start instead of putting you in a position to prove anything.

Expert packing skills
Expert packing skills, no task too big, no item too heavy, everything was done with care. Having moved a 5 bedroom house and a 2 bedroom flat at one time there was only one glass broke and possibly my fault. Very quick and secure packing also was easy to unpack without damaging anything. All the furniture was perfectly assembled and even things that i have never managed to put together in the previous house have been put together (even though they didn’t have to). Extraordinarly worked without any complaints till the job was done, always looked for something to help with. Even though the price tag might scare some, I came to a conclusion that for the level and rarity of quality of service it’s a fair price. Highly recommend

Some problems but eventually resolved satisfactorily.
I had my entire house contents in storage with Stackt for eight months. Collection went smoothly, with a team of friendly guys who arrived on time and worked quickly.
It was easy to book the delivery of my items when I was ready for them to be returned. However, they did arrive a couple of hours late but worked fast to get the job done. The next day I noticed that my fridge had been damaged so I took pictures and reported it to Stackt. I was assured that it would be investigated quickly but it took 12 weeks before coming to a satisfactory resolution. Whilst I was happy in the end, I did have to escalate my case to a complaint as my emails were not being answered. The manager I spoke to, Teki, was very apologetic for my experience and resolved the matter very quickly.

Extraordinary additional costs once they have your items
I used Stackt to store two boxes for two months over the Summer while I went home before moving into my new student accommodation. I would not recommend using them as while their initial pricing is competitive, once they have your items hostage they add on additional costs to deliver them back to you.
Despite my checking before proceeding with the service that the delivery cost would mirror the collection cost of £20, upon requesting my items back I was quoted £82 to drop off two boxes to my address.
After attempting to contact their delivery team via phone, WhatsApp, and email for over a week I finally just called their sales team who answered almost instantly. I was then informed that £80 was the standard delivery fee to transport two boxes a couple miles across London… After continuing to request to speak to a delivery specialist to clarify the quote and explain to me how the most expensive part of their service was giving my items back (collection = £20, storage for a month = £38…) I was informed that they had made a mistake with my quote and that the fee should in fact be £20 - an honest mistake I thought 🤣
On the day of my scheduled delivery I received a phone call saying that their van had broken down and that there were no other vans available to drop off my items - I was unhappy, but it happens.
However, what was interesting was that upon meeting my new flatmates it turns out one of them had also used stackt to store their items and was given the same excuse that their van had broken down and they had to rearrange delivery for Monday. My initial delivery was due on the Thursday, and her’s on the Sunday… so it seems they delayed my storage return for their convenience so as to get our stuff on the same van - transparency would have been appreciated here, and it is even more ridiculous considering that I had already been without my belongings while trying to sort out the quotation issue.
And the cherry on top of the cake is, miraculously their system made the same happy accident re: quotation with her as it did with mine and she has been charged £80 to deliver her items. So both of our items have been delayed, and evidently the trip to the room next door costs an additional £60…
You also have to question why there needs to be a quotation process at all, when there is a fixed time slot for the delivery thus no scope to even incur additional labour costs. This is a ridiculous service with an exploitative business model geared at hoping you don’t question the nonsense numbers they throw at you once they have your belongings.
