I don't often give five stars...

I don't often give five stars unless it's really been earned, and in this case Square Repair has earned it! I was sending an iPad in for repair, the website was so easy to understand and the pricing was very fair. The iPad didn't arrive to them until after noon, but they took the iPad apart, made the repair, and had it back in the mail to me the same day they received it.

When I asked about the details of the repair, they sent me numerous pictures showing the damage and the repairs. I was absolutely floored, shipped to London, repaired and back in my hands in less than a week. Great service, great price, will definitely come back again.

Top Marks - Integrity and Fantastic Service

I would like to give Steven and Square Repair top marks, with a tremendously well-deserved 5 stars. Last month, May, I broke my Sony Xperia 10 IV screen; in the past, I would have just bought a brand new phone, due to fear of extortionate repair costs. However, I decided to take a gamble on this occasion and get a quote from somewhere. When I first got in touch with Square Repair, I was extrememly surprised at the very competitve quote I received. At first, I was highly skeptical as another, very well-stablished phone repair shop that I'd been in touch with previously, quoted me much higher - almost double what Steven had. I later established that the reasons this other shop gave me to justify their much higher price, were very dubious. In the end, I opted with Square Repair and am so glad that I did. I received a super fast service, with my phone delivered to me in less than 2 working days, in fantastic condition, and in perfect working order. Not only did Steven deliver a truly amazing service, his integrity and insight saved me from me being conned out of a significant amount of money from another business. Thank you so much Steven! :).

Excellent service from Square Repair

I walked in with a broken screen on a Sony Xperia phone. Within 24 hours I was informed my repaired device was ready for collection and I made payment online. Very impressed with their efficiency, reasonable prices and straightforward process. If you have a broken phone, I recommend you visit Square Repair.

Amazing service

Amazing service! Booked on the day, 2 hours before. New charging port put in as mine was damaged. Finished and ready to pick up in 2 hours. Only £10 to fast track it which is great value! Will be using them again.

Google Pixel 6 Pro - returned with other defects



Gave my Pixel 6 Pro in for a diagnostics after it abruptly turned off and kept warming up when trying to turn on.

Firstly when sending my phone to square repairs my package was lost with Royal Mail, I did use a tracking service and it was not being updated. A week later it was delivered to square repairs.

Another week later square repairs replied with the diagnostic. A short circuit was discovered and will cost £140 to repair. I agreed to the repairs.

8 days later square repairs confirmed it's been repaired.
Another 8 days later it was re-assembled and posted.

I managed to turn the phone on and back-up all my data.
Immediately I noticed the front camera was no longer working? I never had this issue before. Next the microphone stopped working?
So I could no longer make bank transfers as I needed the front camera to verify payments, I also could not make zoom calls for work and I could not talk on the phone and had to use a bluetooth headset.
The Pixel 6 Pro was pretty much useless.

I emailed square repairs about the problems but they stated this was not mentioned to them prior to the repairs. Well that's because I never had these problems?
I asked them to pay for a replacement smartphone, they replied they sent my phone to a third party to make the repairs?

Initially they said it was a shot circuit then they stated the processor was replaced? I have no way to confirm this.

Now my Pixel 6 Pro is just a glorified bedside alarm.

Thank you for your review, AbdulBaseer. We feel it is important to share the full picture so other customers can make an informed judgement.

Your order was placed on 29 January 2025 and your handset arrived with us completely dead. On 11 February 2025 we diagnosed a short circuit on the board and quoted £140 for a board-level repair, which you agreed to. As stated in our quote, this type of repair is carried out by a specialist third-party board repair team, a detail you accepted before we proceeded.

We should also note that when you submitted the device on 6 February 2025, you yourself flagged: "there's a small rattle when you give the Pixel a shake, could it be a loose connector?" and separately confirmed that "the last thing I was doing on the phone was using the front camera when it abruptly cut power." Both of these strongly suggest a pre-existing issue with the front camera assembly that was entirely unrelated to the board repair we were engaged to perform.

The repair was completed and your handset was returned to you on 28 February 2025. You reported the front camera issue on 3 March 2025. We immediately offered to re-inspect the device at no charge, an offer you declined multiple times, citing inconvenience. Without the device in our hands, we cannot diagnose or fix anything.

The microphone fault was first reported in July 2025, five months after the repair. We cannot reasonably be held responsible for a new fault appearing nearly half a year later, particularly on a device you refused to return for inspection.

On 5 August 2025, rather than accepting our standing offer to re-inspect, you contacted us to state you had purchased a replacement phone for £360 and demanded a full refund, explicitly threatening to leave a one-star review on Google and Trustpilot if we declined. We do not believe it is appropriate to issue refunds under that kind of pressure, and we are unable to refund a service that was successfully delivered: your dead handset was brought back to life, as agreed.

We have acted in good faith throughout, communicated clearly, and repeatedly offered further assistance. We regret that you remain dissatisfied, but we stand fully behind the work carried out.

Top class seevice

Bit the bullet and sent the phone on a Monday and received back, working perfectly, before lunch on the Wednesday. Awesome service and around £120 cheaper than other repair quotes. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Wasted my time completely

Wasted my time completely - went to a different phone shop the same day I requested to have my phone back just after 2 days and got it fixed within 30 minutes, even though squared repair mentioned that this will take a lengthy time to fix. Never again.

I’m very sorry to read that you felt your time was wasted and that your experience with us didn’t meet your expectations.

When you brought your iPhone 14 Pro Max to us, it had already had a previous screen repair carried out elsewhere and was continuously rebooting afterwards. Your main priority was to be able to access your data so you could transfer everything to your new phone.

As discussed, we first checked the more straightforward possibilities such as the battery and charging port, but even after testing and disconnecting other components, the phone continued to show a purple screen and then reboot. That purple flash during restart is a strong indication of a deeper logic board–level issue, rather than a simple screen or battery fault. Because of this, we explained that diagnosis and any potential repair could take longer than a quick 30-minute fix, and that there was an inherent risk to both the device and your data.

Since your priority was data, we focused on trying to secure a backup. Unfortunately, the frequent restarts, combined with Stolen Device Protection being enabled, made it extremely difficult to complete a computer backup, even after we outlined the steps needed to try to work around this. Unfortunately, not all devices with these symptoms respond to a quick repair, and some cases are more complex and time-consuming than others.

I am genuinely glad that you were able to get your phone working again elsewhere, but I am sorry that our cautious approach around a potential board-level fault and the need to protect your data came across as unnecessarily slow. That certainly isn’t the experience we want our customers to have.

Gen 4 Ipod repair

I dropped in on the off chance as I was in the area on business, Stephen collected my Ipod, was very polite and told me he would email me with an update. The fault was quickly diagnosed, the spare part ordered and my Ipod was repaired immediately the part had arrived. I asked it be sent back to me, arrived back very quickly and securely packaged up. Price was very reasonable, polite and quick service, even waiting for the replacement part, the whole thing completed in under two weeks. I highly recommend this company, overall polite, quick and efficient service, would highly recommend!

Smashed screen

I smashed the screen on my iPhone and Square Repair replaced the screen with a non iPhone screen. From that point onwards the phone has been frustratingly unresponsive and only works intermittently. Emailed Square Repair about this issue without reply. After posting this review they offered to replace the screen.

As noted at the time of booking, third-party screens can occasionally fall short of original Apple display performance in terms of responsiveness and colour accuracy — though we always aim to use the best available quality within that category. Of course, this shouldn’t result in unresponsiveness, and we’re more than happy to replace the screen under warranty if it’s found to be faulty.

My whole life’s music was on this iPod…

My whole life’s music was on this iPod and it was important for me to get the iPod repaired quickly and returned in full working order , which of course it was.I used the Royal Mail postal service to get the iPod to them and that was a complete worry free success.I was particularly pleased about the returned condition of the case.I purchased this iPod from new over 20 years ago and it had never been previously opened and there was no damage whatsoever to the casing.I am only too pleased that I used Squarerepair and did not try do the job myself as many YouTube videos suggested.
And finally the total costs for the new battery and the replacement of the charging port were extremely reasonable.

Excellent all round service

Extremely efficient, friendly and high quality service repairing a no longer available 2018 blackberry (smashed screen and damaged chassis). Despite being the only option for such a repair pricing was also fair.
