Absolute rip off, don't waste your mone

Firstly the advertising says Spy Focus Australia, the item come from Hong Kong, second the app is so hard to work with the cameras won't sync, the cameras I bought (3) only 1 would sync to my wifi, none of them would charge, after 24 hours on charge they were at about 2 percent. When I asked for a refund I was told to send them back at my expense or I could get a 35% refund. Don't waste your money like I did, this is a cheap useless product and it should be illegal to advertise the way they do

i was also SCAMMED with these faulty products...

i didnt give in....discussed my issue with the fraud department at AMEX my Credit Card providers who chased these issues up, also spoke with Consumer Rights in the uk

i was originally offer a 30% discount from the company but i refused...pushed a little hard over 2 days & then full credit received.....dont give up against BAD companies like these

Bad customer experience …

I ordered the Spyfocus 3pack at least 3 weeks ago. I have not received my order and my credit card was billed for two additional purchases. I spoke with what I assume was a customer service representative but my issue was not resolved. This is in my opinion for all intents and purposes a scam. I would appreciate if someone could fix this without requiring me to jump thru a bunch of hoops. I would not recommend this seller to anyone.

This camera is absolutely useless the battery lasts 3 to 4hours if your lucky.The App is very hard to navigate along with poor instruction manual, and they claim it only takes 3mins.
I have sent an e-mail asking for support 4days ago to date no response.
Steer clear of this company.

SCAM - ZERO STARS IS THE ACTUAL RATING

SCAM. AVOID. I NEVER WANTED THIS PRODUCT IN THE FIRST PLACE. MY YOUNG SON PURCHASED IT AND HAD MY PHONE SO WAS ABLE TO CONFIRM THE PAYPAL PIN. PAYPAL REFUSED TO REIMBURSE.

SPYFOCUS SHIPPED THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY ACCORDING TO THEM AND SO WERE UNABLE TO STOP THE PROCESS. EVEN THOUGH I CONTACTEDTHEM 1 HOUR AFTER THE ORDER. IT ARRIVED 16 DAYS LATER OBVIOUSLY!

SPYFOCUS MADE IT CLEAR THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO GAIN A FULL REFUND. HOWEVER, THEIR WEBSITE TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY AND MAKE IT REALLY HARD TO ACHIEVE THIS. SEE BELOW. THEY MAKE THE CUSTOMER PAY FOR ALL THE RETURN POSTAGE (TRACKED). THEY ALSO DENY REFUNDS FOR ANY DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS (THEY DISCOUNT EVERY PURCHASE IT SEEMS TO ME).

I DID ACTUALLY TAKE THE PRODUCTS OUT OF THE BOX AND AS YOU WILL SEE ON LINE IF YOU READ THE REVIEWS THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NONSENSICAL AND THE TECH SET UP DOESN'T WORK.

Definitely a rip off

I bought the camera thinking it was a waste and I wasn't disappointed. It says set up in minutes. I wasted 3 hours trying to set it up. It says reset the camera by pressing the reset button. It doesn't exist. It asks for the PSK of the phone but nowhere is it provided. I never was able to connect it to my cell phone. The WiFi SSID shows up in my phone but that is it.

I wrongly took reviews at face value,all 5star of course.
Camera's arrived today after 6 days,tried to set up but it wanted access to all sorts of information from my phone which I declined as I thought unnecessary but to connect cameras you had to!
Whilst trying to set up I had a warning flagging up saying I had 17 malwares and would have to put an antiviras app to my phone! Cheesed of putting it politely gave it up as a bad job, Only now seen all these negative reviews will take it on the chin and put it down to a bad experience!

The worst company to do business with! They say they offered a refund but the link was broken and I never got it. The camera was a gift for someone but it never stayed charged long enough to connect to wifi. I would rate negative stars! Would not recommend!

This company is shocking

This company is shocking. Received 2 cameras, started the set-up, app wouldn't even open. Contacted customer service immediately requesting to start the return process. They replied fairly quickly. Offered 50% refund and I wouldn't have to return goods, I declined, they offered 75%, when I declined they said I would have to return goods to Germany to receive 100% refund. You, also, have to return with tracking which you have to provide to them. They have now replied saying that the refund could be 14 days after they receive the returned goods. Shocking service. Steer clear.

Wish I could give it zero . What a cheap piece of plastic c—p . I bought this to make sure my elderly auntie who has dementia was safe at night , it won’t connect at all . How this company gets away with selling this rubbish I don’t know . AVOID AT ALL COST.

Dissatisfied customer

We purchased spy focus cameras and needed to return them because they were not what we wanted. We initiated a return request and they said 30% less of the total asking price as well as keeping the product, which we denied. they then offered 50% off the original price which we denied. Then the said 75% off original price which we denied.. We said no to all and we finally got them to agree on 100% refund. This was handled only through email. There was no phone number to call. We sent them back along with tracking numbers from USPS. They received it within 3 days and said they refunded our money. It never appeared. We had to put in a dispute with our credit card company and Paypal. Finally, after 6 weeks of returning the product we got our refund. This is not good customer service. They were polite but this took forever.

Zero stars is more accurate

Besides the deceptive advertising and the incomprehensible instructions, the program then informs you that it is not compatible with 5G networks. The essentially makes the cameras useless. Not sure why this fact could have been mentioned in their ads. That is where the scam really starts, when you ask to return the cameras and get a refund. They employ a third party to handle support who apparently specializes in closing your claim without any resolution. Multiple attempts to resolve the situation resulted in a circular series of emails that promised to inform how to return and get a refund only to be told the claim was being closed due to a lack of response. Finally, after dozens of emails I was told that 30 days had passed and of course no refund or return was possible.
SpyFocus has turned scamming into an art form.

Do not buy from this company!!!

I’m afraid my story echoes all the other one star reviews. After many uncooperative emails they finally agreed to refund me. They’ve sent me a return address and asked for the proof of purchase number when I post it. They even offered me 75% refund and I get to keep the cameras. The whole thing stinks and I’m not going to supply any bank details to them for a refund. They should be able to refund me on my credit card that I paid on but I no longer trust them. Incidentally, the headers on received emails read buyspyfocus.com

Cameras work intermittently, batteries charge then flat the next day. Tried to contact them through 4 e-mail contacts without success. Lodged a complaint through PayPal and was turned down. Supplier goes through company in Lithuania who are also impossible to contact. DO NOT BUY THESE CAMERAS. Non contactable. Also was charged for extended warranty which I didn't request. DODGY AS HELL. Will be pursuing another avenue for refund

Beware

Beware! This is a scam! They have no customer support, they will not refund your money. Do not dare download the app and do not give them access to your phone or Wi-Fi. It is loaded with spyware. The camera does not support Wi-Fi 5. But I can guarantee you if you give them money they will not refund it.
