Gary and his team were excellent to deal with, installation was completed in one day and to a very high standard. Highly recommend them.

I had an 8kW system installed on the 22nd of April. A very neat job and done quickly. The issues started after about a month. The entire system would trip out on overvoltage protection when there was intermittent strong sunshine. I contacted SPV, and received no help. Luckily I'm an electrical engineer so I delved into the settings and limited the amount of voltage the invertor could send to the battery. Problem solved, for a while.

After a few months it was obvious that one battery wasn't going to be enough to cover my electrical load. Having finally managed to get SPV to supply and install a second battery after enduring constant stalling, the overvolt problem returned, however this time it was just the warning alarm, it never tripped out. The second battery also has an issue where it charges when it wants to, not when it should. It will often sit at 93% and won't charge despite excess energy being exported to the grid. I informed SPV of this straight away, but was still sent the bill for the second battery a day later. I again contacted them and made it plain that no payment would be sent through until the problems were resolved. A week later I was informed that they would send someone out to install a firmware update which should solve the problem. There was no explanation as to why the installers didn't bring the update with them when installing the second battery.

So two weeks pass, finally someone arrives out to update the battery, the update wouldn't install.....After 3 hours the man gave up and asked to take the battery with him to update it from the office, leaving me with the newer battery which charges when it feels like it. I stupidly agreed. This was last Thursday, I was assured the update would be installed the next day. The following Tuesday, the day of writing this, and having heard nothing, I contacted them again, only to be informed they hadn't even attempted to install the update and would "try to get around to it tomorrow".....

To sum up, they are only interested in getting in and out. Once they have your money they don't want to know. Appalling after sales service....Lesson learned....

From the initial enquiry, Nicole and her fellow staff were friendly efficient and professional at all times.. I was taken through the process step by step, with questions answered as they arose.. the grant application process has been seamless. The lads on the day of installation were professional to a fault and tidy in their work.. overall I would highly recommend the professionalism and efficiency of this company.. if you're looking at the options regarding solar , you would be well advised to start here.

From our first call to sales at SPV to the installation of our Solar Panels by a very efficient team we couldn’t have asked for a more customer friendly company. Had 4.7 kw system installed in April by spv.the job was done in 6hrs no hassles.price and quality of work was the best .in the 18 wks I've saved 350 ish euro on bills. I requested Eddie system after job was finished was fitted in less than a wk .this company should win awards for quality and customer service.anytime I've called or emailed they're responded straight away.job was fully paid for and they still came back less than awk later to fit Eddie..tks spv I have and will keep telling people about yr service..no.1 company.also getting 14c per kw for electric going back to grid is brilliant

My wife and I couldn’t believe just what an amazing job the team did on our Solar install, how friendly they were, how fast they worked and how they even left the place cleaner than it was when they arrived! And as for the system itself, to see us already, even with the cloud overhead giving energy back to the grid, well its very pleasing to say the least.

From the first time we spoke, to every interaction since, as well as with Gary and Padraig, to Dean today - SPV have been incredible!

I absolutely will be back to you for a battery install in the future, and really really cant recommend SPVEnergy high enough to anyone who will listen.

We have had our panels now for nearly 4 years, they have been one if the best investments we ever made, but what makes it that good is the after care service from SPV Energy, any issue no matter how small they are still there to assist us 4 years later, they always returns call promptly and if they can’t solve your problem immediately, they will find out how and then get back to you, we had lots of options when we were choosing who to install our panels and so glad we chose correctly.

Simply can not recommend these guys more, from the moment we contacted Gary, everything was efficient and transparent, there was no hard sell and the company altered the plan to suit our particular needs, everything was on our terms. They contacted us when they said they would and I never had to chase anything up.

On the day of installation 5 lads arrived at the crack of dawn and never stopped all day, the installation looks smart with no extruding wires or parts and the lads no only cleaned but even hovered up anywhere they had been in our home.

Afterwards, the ladies in the office took care of all our paperwork for grant and microgeneration scheme before we even had a chance to ask, grant came through this week too.

I've already left a review for Gary and his excellent team but I'd like to add another.
Due to an omission, which was entirely my fault, we had the wrong car charger fitted. It was replaced without question or charge and without any delay.
I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough, their customer service is excellent! ( And they are very reasonably priced).

Recently had SPVenergy install 3.1kW solar PV system with 2 3.6kW battery storage. Office was very responsive to all my emails/phone calls. Very helpful with the grant process too. Crew showed up on time, everything working great. Highly Recommend!!!

Just had a 4.6KW system installed. Highly advise anyone getting solar PV installed to Contact SPV Energy. I contacted numerous Solar PV companies and this company were second to none. Pricing, No Marketing spoof or made up discounts, Answered all calls and queries. Very Pleasant staff both in office and onsite. Arrived on Date Specified and Job done by early afternoon. I installed a solar panel for water heating in 2006. In recent years I was considering installing solar panels for electricity generation and every time that I searched for information I was getting lots of solar panels adverts popping up as a result. Then when my neighbour had spv panels installed I had a good reference point. He had undertaken lots of research. He selected SPVenergy and highly recommended them.
Not wanting to reinvent the wheel I contacted SPVenergy and I got a full and detailed response from Jack. Before I proceeded I contacted SPVenergy again and asked for someone to call. Gary came on a site visit to discuss the installation and answer questions. There was no sales talk pressure just facts. A date for the installation was agreed.
I received an email that the team would be here at 8 am on the agreed date. A crew of four arrived just before 8am, two to work outside on fixing the panels to the roof and two inside. Most of the work inside was confined to the attic with short time spent on work on the switchboard which was the only time that we were without power during the installation. We had 10 panels installed. The outdoor crew were finished about 1.30pm and the indoor crew were leaving at 3pm having given a run through the system. They also did a great clean up, these lads know how to use a vacuum cleaner! The accompanying app is great to watch the kilowatts being generated.
I have no hesitation in recommending SPVenergy and have already spread the word among my friends.

SPV Energy recently installed 4.32Kw Solar PV including Eddi hot water diverter for us.Contract agreed early Nov and installation date set for Feb 1st. They duly turned up at 7.45 on appointed date (despite COVID being rampant) and installation complete in about 7 hours. No mess, no fuss just a very professional team led by Dean. Managing Director Gary and Nicole in the office were always very helpful and offered thorough advice at all times. SPV handled Grant application and also arranged BER certificate, they also returned and installed Zappi EV charger at short notice. I would highly recommend SPV Energy for Solar PV and Zappi installation. Good, honest and trustworthy people offering a great product at good value,

I highly recommend SPV Energy, I had done a significant level of research before seeking quotes (8 altogether) so I knew what I wanted. SPV were by far the most competitive and the most thorough. Even after we had to make a couple of minor tweaks upon the introduction of the updated SEAI grant, it was not problem. Emmet and the team arrived right on time and worked hard throughout the day to get the job done. After they left, you would hardly know they had been there besides the lovely new solar panel system on the roof. All the admin for the grant was sorted any payment arrived the other day. I can't imagine anyone would do a better job than SPV and I highly recommend them.

From the very start of the process Gary was extremely helpful in what he was offering and designing for me. I have 11 panels on the house and 7 on a garage and all works was completed to a very high standard in one day by Emmet and his team of lads that arrived at 7.50 on a Monday morning (The exact time I was told they would arrive). The app which was explained and set up for me on my phone is a great way to see it actually working and planning when best to use heavier using items such as washing machine, tumble dryer etc.
Would have no hesitation in recommending SPV to anybody which I have done to a few friends already.

Very happy with the whole process from start to end. Excellent advice based on our particular circumstances and needs, and as others have said - no hard sell. Also no surprises: options and choices fully discussed, and a pre-installation survey that allowed us to be ready for the 6-person crew on the day. Everything was done in one day, and everything on the two roofs, in the attic and at the converter/battery installation left neatly and professionally installed. Just as importantly, I have recommended them to others and those customers' five-star reviews are here as well, so it wasn't just a lucky shot for us.

Great company to do business with. All was well planned and communicated. They arranged the SEAI grant and we had very little admin work. On the day of installation, all men were tidy, and informative and the workmanship was second to none. I have no hesitation to recommend SPV Energy to anyone who want solar PV installed. Our system is complex with battery, Solar PV and car charger and now, 4 months in, works perfectly saving us money on a daily basis.

SPV was recommended by a good friend - I think it is one of the best recommendations I have been given- SPV are a very professional company from top to bottom - from Gary’s first technical visit to my house and his thorough replies to my e mails - Dean and the installation team work in installing the panels etc - All done with minimum disruption and total professionalism .
