Dreadful

If you’re thinking of buying a Spoticar under the Stellantis dealership don’t don’t don’t the health check is cursory if you breakdown and have an extra1 yr warranty then the adage buyer beware comes into play .. I wasn’t informed by the RAC that the roadside assistance lasts only 6 months and not 18 months as I was told when the clutch went
I was left on a precarious roadside with no help from the “roadside assistance” had tried ringing Stellantis edge lane but it was just a futile experience I was told we don’t accept towed vehicles here. I paid A A who had no hesitation in coming out to a over 70 senior with a disability and a dog with no water but they thanked me for calling the RAC
Spoticar Stellantis wanted £2000 to fix clutch and £168 just to look
Also told they won’t admit to fixing it under the warranty they’ll say it’s wear and tear ( as told by an employee ) also denied saying don’t bring car here being towed& find a dealership couldn’t tell when they could look at it. They book that many cars in which smacks of get them in get the cash .I was told by the young man on the desk I can book it in for the end of November…. It was August !!!! Stellantis Liverpool …….never again

Doesn't work on Lanzarote

We bought a new car and wanted to sell the old one. We went through the whole process in February, when we ordered the new car, and again last week.

We thought Spoticar would buy the car at their dealership in Arrecife. But no. It seems this only works in Gran Canaria.

I wrote to Spoticar last week. This mail was ignored. I wrote again saying that I would give them a 1-star review if I didn't get a answer. I got another standard mail asking me to make an appointment, which of course I can't, but no answer to my mail.

What a waste of our time!?!? Unbelievable.

Waste of time and money

I purchased a van in January. Automatic hand brake fault comes up when driving. Spoticar policy is not worth the paper it is written on. They just said not something they cover. £400 of my own money spent and I still have the problem. Van is in again, had enough, don’t waste your money if you see spoticar run away!!!

Hello to everyone who want to contact this miserable and unashamed company, i was trying to buy a car and contacting with a commercial named francisco J.D, he was showing that his dowing an effort to help, but in the end it was just for selling the vehicle and nithing mutters more, i was talking to him giving him informations and all what he needed, asked me for the number of mi wife... i was thinking that it's for bank paper or something like that but it was for calling my wife telling her it's not good to apply for financing the car with me because with your husband you can have problems and it's better to apply with your father's paper like this you will have the car only for you and you will not be in the thing with a person who can ask you for your thing and ... and... and...
But the most unbelievable thing was when i called him to ask him to clarify the things he started yelling and insulting, in this situation all of you will understand the end.
Shame on you having a commercial like this, shame on him being in the middle of personal things and being disrespectful.

If I could give 0* I would I agree with…

If I could give 0* I would I agree with the 1* reviews below I took out warranty insurance with Vauxhall which are now using Spoticar my rear light indicators and break lights not working the whole component needs to be replaced even the mechanic said this so I had to pay £100 for a diagnostic fee even though I self diagnosed it myself and told them what the issue was they said they will contact Spoticar to let me know if it is covered under warranty so they can refund me the £100 but guess what of course IT IS NOT COVERED which is pathetic they are saying wires and fuses is not covered under warranty that is not the issue it is the whole rear headlight set that needs to be replaced so it is not just wires the whole component is damaged which should be covered in warranty. I took it to the branch on the 2nd Jan and no one contacted me since so I called up on the 18th Jan to get an update just for them to tell me it is not covered by warranty so I was left over 2 weeks with not a word you can get points and fines for not having breaklights and indicators working an accident can even happen all I got was 'It was christmas' at the end of the day I am still a customer personally I wont be renewing with spoticar and if you are considering it please read small print or look elsewhere because you will still be paying money if not more better on going to a local mechanic.

All the best.

Be careful and don’t get suckered ind

Be careful and don’t get suckered in. Problems with clutch and auxiliary fan coming on after a short distance. Had the car 8 weeks. Dealer (Stelantis Birmingham)!wont answer phone or mails or return call instead get a bot.First you can’t take it to a local dealer; then you can. Have to pay £120 diagnostics. Non refundable. Then they decide if its Inder warranty. Warranty say all parts are included so what’s to decide. Stelantis pffft.

Please avoid Spoticar

Please avoid Spoticar. Gave me an over inflated part exchange price. After picking a car and multiple trips to dealer I was then told that there was an issue with their algorithm but Infact they are just over inflating part exchange prices to get people through the door. Was quoted 20k for my car but it was 15k when I got to the dealer

Very poor service

Very poor service. Purchased a car with Citroen 11 months ago who gave me a 2 year warranty with spoticar, 9 months in my car has an electrical fault with the fan which causes it to run after the car is turned off which has also caused the battery to fail, spoticar refuse to cover the battery on the policy even though I have an RAC report stating that the cause of the battery failing is due to the electrical fault with the fan. The battery was working perfectly before this.

If I knew Citroen used spoticar as their warranty I would not have purchased the car. The Service I have received matches the reviews on here 1 star !

I will not be using this company again and please don’t purchase their warranty go to a more professional company who will support and assist you.

Very agressive sales and unprofessional

Very agressive sales demanding a deposit instantly and then withold the second key on pickup. The almost new car had the tyre repair kit missing and they have still not supplied the second key or the documentation for the car. They failed to remove their advertising number plate and drove home with no number plate showing. Very arrogant and unprofessional
