NO reference supplied by Spie cleaning supervisor
I took a job working as a cleaner in a School in Liverpool L18 . The job is ok in that you are mostly left to get on with it without too much micro-management. I was employed through an Agency and on the minimum pay. Some of the floor cleaning equipment was not working though repaired but still faulty later, namely the floor washing machine which you really need if washing a Sports Hall. My main problem with them was having left the Spie supervisor kept saying she had sent a reference for me, to my next employer. I finally asked for a copy to be sent to me, but this did not arrive, and the recruiter for the new job had received nothing. This puts me in difficult position as to getting another position. I worked there conscientiously , and was asked to go back there again, but being older needed something less physical as work. Not obtaining the reference has not helped.
