The mechanical timer is about a minute short. When set to 5 minutes it runs for about 4 minutes. I assume the spring will stretch and over time become more accurate.

The original startup requires a number of steps. Those steps should be in a quick start guide and written by a professional instruction writer.

I have only tried it out a few times, so am looking forward to hopefully good results in a few months. Delivery was fast, and the packaging was sturdy with no damaged parts. Instructions were informative and easy to follow. The light started up after a few flicks of the switch, and the timer works fine as well. If it works, i will buy a couple of extra replacement bulbs to have on hand. Built to last!

The Sun Lamp and Vitamin D lamp work as advertised. The eye protection goggles are cheaply made and one head band broke on the first use. Other than that, after one week of use, there's a noticeable difference in everyone feeling better and smiling more during the long Alaskan nights.

With this lamp you really just gotta believe and have faith, & hope that it’s working, since they noted you get 2300iu from 5 minute sessions. We only can do a session every other day so that’s only about 6,900-9,000 IU in a week. And that’s honestly horrible. If u vitamin d deficiency. Really need 5,000-10,000iu a day to increase vitamin d levels. And this was $600. A lot of money , for all the work u gotta put in compared to just taking 1 pill. But I can’t do supplements. So I took my chance. But I’m going to give it 2 more months to see but if u can’t use this everyday which they recommend u don’t I don’t see this being beneficial.

First off, only Sperti has a proven vitamin D sunlamp. I had a shipping question and called the company directly. The customer service was amazing and they are right here in America.
