BEWARE

CAUTION WHEN ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. They are charging for duty fees and tariff fees that are beyond the reasonable percentage amount. In fact items less than $800 are not subjected to duty fees. I bought 9 onesies for $350 including shipping and they charged me $193.95 in duty fees. It would make sense if the onesies were made with an extremely fine clothing material like silk or satin but they are made with cotton. The company wont provided me with the cost breakdown. BEWARE.

I bought from them a while ago .I bought five bodysuits . The material was thin .In a couple of washes wholes started to appear nd my kid managed to break at least 2 of them with absolutely no effort. They are expensive , and to be honest it's not worth it at all.

Absolutely appalling company my sons…

Absolutely appalling company my sons billy shoes for his splints broke within 3 weeks , I made contact with the company showing them the hole right through the shoe only to be asked to send them the inside pictures of the shoe because they look worn?!. Well duh of course they have for 3 weeks and have holes already ! They have now stopped responding !!! Shoes made for splints at 70.00 a pair shouldn't be breaking after 3 weeks don't buy from them!

Found this company whilst looking for…

Found this company whilst looking for shoes for kids with additional needs. My son has struggled with lace up shoes and as his feet grow the choice of suitable shoes shrinks dramatically. I ordered a pair of Friendly Force trainers in Black and Lime green in the size he normally wears. They arrived today and my son has not had them off. He is amazed by the comfort and feel of them. I cannot recommend these shoes and SpecialKids.Company enough. We will certainly be using this company in the future.

Think twice

Whilst it’s great to have a company focus on the niche market of disabled clothing and accessories - when things go wrong it’s not so good. The whole niche of this market makes buying the right thing difficult. Under UK law any returns must be refunded with the full shipping cost (albeit the lowest priced service, not the one you paid for) refunded - these cowboys don’t refund that shipping cost however.

So buyer beware, not only will you pay a premium because these items have that keyword disabled in them, if the item isn’t what you expect - you’ll lose your shipping charge refund too.

Advice - go elsewhere or stick to the high street where you can legally try before you buy as specialkids.company seem to ignore the UK law on CRA 2015 and CCR 2013.

Buyer beware the specialkids.company

Buyer beware the specialkids.company
I have a son with feet that are two different sizes so
I purchased two pairs of billy shoes because of my sons odd size feet after having them three weeks the shoes broke at the zip sent them back to the retail stating that they are faulty, only to have the company blame my son for breaking them himself whom is disabled the manager in charge said my son had been kicking the area that was damage on something hard
And wasn’t willing to replace .only after I threatened them with bad press and legal action they finally sent an other pair .and admitted that there was a fault in their design and tried to flob me of with a different design which was not acceptable to me as the billy boot I chose was perfect for my sons needs.
I finally received a replacement for the damage pair after a very long wait .the new pair broke in the exact same place they lasted 4 weeks.the specialkids.company are aware of the problem with their billy boot but after looking on their website still sell the same product knowing that the product is not fit for purpose. So once again buyer beware
Specialkids company it would stand you in good stead in the future not to call your customers liars .
