I have had back issues since I was 15 and I was 70 when I first saw Dr Evans. Despite having a private GP for over 35 years, and private medical insurance, Dr Evans is the only specialist who has shown any interest and determination in relieving the pain. He has treated me for over 2 years and if one procedure hasn't been successful he has immediately tried an alternative. Importantly to me, he explains everything in an easy to understand way! My only regret is that I didn't see him earlier, before the pain had really taken hold. I would highly recommend him to anyone with chronic pain.

after waiting a year and being told this procedure could be another year on NHS decided to go private using our emergency pension fund as i couldnt stand the pain any longer, Dr Evans is a brilliant kind and caring man took time to let me know the best treatment ,quick entry for op which was painless and for the first time in many years i could walk upright again the staff at SPS gave a warm welcome brilliant service

The service that I received from Dr Neal Evans and his team was very helpful. He explained everything to me clearly and in a way that I could totally understand. I never felt rushed in our appointments and he made me feel totally at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist in pain management.

Dr Neal Evans is remarkably approachable and the best pain consultant I have encountered. Following many, many years of activity limiting severe lower back pain, he simply said that he could help. For so many years, pain clinics wrote me of as there being nothing they could do. My injury was due to my military service, despite my being a War Pensioner, all others failed to even consider the treatment given by Dr Evans. A regrettable failure of service from the NHS.

Following an ablation and a follow-up injection, my life has been turned around, yes, there is some residuary aches, but nothing close to the scale of the previous pain, it disturbed my sleep, severely limited my ability to hike, and just increasingly made life very painful.

My thanks to Dr Evans for his considered and expert treatment, it has brought the joy of hiking in the countryside, back into my life.

Neal Evans has been treating my lower back pain for a while, which has included two successful nerve ablations. He is very approachable and understands the mental anguish that chronic pain causes. He also refers through his network as appropriate, in my case for regenarative therapy. Highly recommended

Dr Evans was referred to me by my GP. I had heard positive reports of the technique he uses. In the event it was pain free and effective.

I can really honestly say Dr Evans is the best Doctor i have ever seen and I've seen many for my on-going back issues over the last 5 years, especially in Harley Street.

He is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed me with the condition I have, something none of the other Doctors managed to do in 5 years.

I have had 2 procedures with Dr Evans and he has an exceptional bed-side manor. Easy to talk to and extremely professional across the board. He listened to all my concerns and questions and reassured me all along the way.

A couple of years ago I developed pain in my upper right thoracic area that led to chronic and disabling muscle spasm and pain that spread to the left side and affected my lower back too. My quality of life was significantly affected, poor sleep and I was unable to do some of the things that I enjoy. I followed recommended physio treatment and it got worse. Fortunately I was then referred to Dr Evans. I’m so grateful for Neal’s patient support and treatment. I was anxious about treatment and he listened, he was thoughtful and thorough in identifying and explaining what was causing and maintaining my pain. He worked with what I understood and could manage at each stage. I had confidence in him and took the recommended amitriptyline, the nerve pain reduced and I was able to start to benefit from physio. Life started opening up again and a return to my usual busy self- well nearly. The pain discomfort continued at a lower more manageable level and more localised. I then had recommended pulsed radio frequency treatment to reduce nerve sensitivity in the affected area. I have had significant improvement from this. I thoroughly recommend Dr Evans pain management service.

Great diagnosis & treatment from Dr Evans. After years of lower back pain, it was determined I had more of a pain 'muscle memory' than any actual fundamental problems. With a sequence of steroid injections, Dr Evans effectively 'reset' my pain and overnight i could once again touch my toes...something that the pain has restricted my movement from doing for several years.

Nearly three years ago I had a new knee fitted, I suffered Chronic pain within the knee area for over two years and I kept being told by Orthapedic Surgeons that this was normal. Eventually i went to see Mr Neal Evans at the Chiltern Hospital, from the time my husband and I met him it was very clear that Mr Evans is an extremely compassionate Man. He explained everything to me in detail and what he felt the problem was, under his care I had my Femoral nerve / Siatica nerve and my genicular nerve desensitized after two years i am completely pain free. The biggest regret I have is that I didn't see him before.
I can't praise him enough for what he has done for me. If you need to see a pain Specialist this is the Right Man.

After years of my husband suffering shoulder pain, visiting various physio depts., and doing endless exercises to try and strengthen the shoulders, we visited Dr. Neal as the pain was not going away and it was impacting on his daily life more and more.
We found Dr. Neal to be very approachable and helpful in advising us and answering any queries we had and we decided to go ahead with his treatment.
The procedure was quick, very efficiently carried out by Dr Neal and his follow-up consultation gave us the peace of mind that we were being well looked after.
