Absolutely disgusting service.
Myself and my family have used this dry cleaners for 30+ years but not so much of recent years but going on previous experience I took my dress that I was wearing for my daughters wedding in to be pressed.
On the morning of the wedding when I put the dress on it had not been pressed correctly, pleats were not ironed in fully so instead of the dress falling correctly flat it was all puffed out, had to wear dress as too late for it to be rectified. Took dress back after the wedding and manager agreed that it was substandard pressing and that he would re-press dress free of charge and I was to pay £10.00 to clean.
Went in today to collect dress and to my dismay it was as badly pressed if not worse than the first time!!!!
Gentleman behind the counter once again called manager and his response to me being I think quite deservedly upset with the service was to accuse me of being rude, which I can guarantee you I wasn’t!!
I was told to take my dress without paying and get somewhere else to press it!!!!!
I will NEVER use this shop again and I recommend if you want a service carried out on an item for a very special occasion you use another dry cleaners…….
