The best & only good thing to come out of Storm Dennis...
Robin Bayman is our absolute hero. He defied all odds to drive an hour from Pontypridd to the Swansea Valley whilst Storm Dennis raged throughout our valleys. Then he had to drive home in the dark with flooding on all sides for most of his journey.
After a really poor installation by Steve Maxwell of Style Canopies, our carport wasn't the most sturdiest of installations and it needed more work to secure it. Storm Dennis was the final straw.
Whilst Storm Dennis was raging all around us, Robin completely removed the poly-carbon roof sheets which were lifting due to the gales of wind and secured the end upright to prevent it from lifting out of the ground. Some hours later, after working in terrible conditions, Robin made his way home knowing he had left us safer than he found us.
As promised, he returned; stripped the carport, reset all the uprights and secured them properly into the ground, got the drainage fall correct, re-aligned the gutter, cleaned and correctly sealed the poly-carbon sheets with breather tape and hey, we now have the carport we should have had in the beginning.
Robin is a delightful man, full of knowledge which he willingly shares, professional to a fault and we recommend him without reserve to anyone who is considering having work done.
Thank you Robin, not only did you 'save our bacon' during this ordeal, you made a couple of new fans who will gladly show off their carport to all. Before you came along, we refused to tell anyone who inquired about the installation, who the installer was.

Absolutely delighted with this carport from SWCCV, Robin was a total professional from first contact to final build. The components, fit and finish are top quality and I think well worth the cost ( which by the way was excellent value ) . Robin certainly knows the product inside out, nothing was too much trouble and for a layman such as myself his expertise and much needed advice put me at total ease when contemplating this project.
