Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently praise the well-structured modules and clear, easy-to-follow instructions, which make learning complex software accessible. Many people appreciate the detailed explanations and the ability to revisit lessons, enhancing their understanding and confidence in using the software professionally. The engaging and informative nature of the courses, along with practical exercises, is frequently highlighted as a significant benefit. However, some customers noted that while the user experience and technology are generally excellent, a few courses might not be as in-depth as others. Additionally, some reviewers found certain quiz questions unclear, though the option to retake quizzes helped mitigate this issue.

The instructions were clear enough

The instructions were clear enough, although I had to slow down the speed at times to see where the presenter moved the cursor.
I suggest that the lessons be supplemented with practice files/drawings and guided, for better learning absorption. Without practice, it's easy to forget the lessons' salient points.

It's probably the best option out there.

This is probably the most affordable way to learn any of the Autodesk software.

On the plus side:
You are getting a bargain. If you supplement this with some other free videos and tutorials out there along the way, you will benefit greatly.

I'm very appreciative overall for this resource. There were a few things that were frustrating especially at first.

They did generally respond punctually. I had a login issue at one time that resolved with rebooting, but I was worried I had been scammed. They emailed almost immediately and reassured me.

Cons:
There isn't much support. You will get an answer, but it may not be helpful. If you're stumped, google it or take a break. I saw they helped some people with basic questions (extracting files, selecting proper units...) but mine weren't really answered. I was told I hadn't extracted the files (I had). I was also told that using Civil3D instead of AutoCAD creates scaling problems.

I was using Civil3D for the AutoCAD course. That is the direction I want to take (Civil3D). Their Civil3D course says to take the CAD class first and using Civil for the AutoCAD class is fine. Their online support said it was creating my problems. The problem was related to inserting units and my not having a good understanding of using the scale command-not the program I was using. I troubleshoot things for a living and when people say stuff like that it seems like a lazy solution, but I get it.
Virtual support back and forth like that is hard and near impossible.

I had a lot of issues with things inserting at the wrong scale. It would be good to address this in the Blocks lessons. A good understanding of the scale command is required at that point in the lessons and it isn't covered as thoroughly as needed.

The quiz questions aren't clear sometimes and often aren't covered in the lesson. I think most of this is a language issue and after a while or sort of understood what was meant. I'd be happy to help do some minimal editing if ever needed in the future.

Overall it's a great bargain; probably the best out there. I think they are still growing as an organization and will probably improve.

Good

Good, I had a lot of experience in 3d drawing during a course. I just want to feedback about file drawing, please give "offset from origin" little a bit longger because some time dimension and drawing become connected, and I can't describe the drawing correctly. The size from dimension also look like same in drawing, please make the lineweight for dimension smaller than part drawing.
Thank you.

Good experience

I was aware of sourcecad sometimes ago too, but wasn't actively involved.
Now, I have gone through some free courses recently. I found these courses very good as these courses given me exposure how to use AutoCAD commands practically in order to design something or make drawings. I have gone through AutoCAD electrical courses from other sources too, but these courses were lagging somewhere in order to give an idea to me on how to use learned AutoCAD commands in real world scenarios. But at sourcecad.com I got great experience.
Spacially, the free course on AutoCAD electrical about 3-phase motor circuit design is very helpful, in order to understand real essence or purpose of design in AutoCAD electrical software.
The author of this course is very good. He utilised his vast knowledge to make our subject concept more clearer.
Thanks alot sir!

Fusion360 Trining

I am new to Autodesk products and trying to learn Fusion360 as a hobbyist. So far, I have completed a few sections in the Sourcecad Fusion360 instruction videos. I have found them to be very logical, concurrent, and very well constructed. I look forward to completing my Fusion30 training.

It is worth the time spent using SourceCAD

I have a large amount of experience with ACAD, all self taught. I do own books to reference but getting anything useful is hard to find. The books are thick and knowing what to look up isn't a fun task. SourceCAD helps you visually to do regular task and generally step by step. I've taken this winter 2024 to go through ACAD 2018, Electrical and 3D. In the process I've also reviewed Fusion 360. My weakness has always been 3D I now have a better grasp on those processes. I have very little to complain about, however some of the videos are somewhat blurry although not many, Be sure to run in full screen for maximine viewing clarity. I am owed two certs because technical glitches that exist in those two certificate down loads. Overall you will learn something and or improve your skills in these programs.
