I regret to say that my interactions with Sophie were unsatisfactory because the software was too complicated and full of bugs, which made it difficult for me to manage cybersecurity.
causes constant CPU spikes and can render a system with i7 cpu and 32gb ram, unusable for windows up to 30sec long.
constantly scans Visual Studio and slows solution opening time and build time considerably.
during the time it's scanning, the usage spike is so high that even the TaskManager window is frozen.

I bought a Home Premium package that has stopped working on my Mac as soon as I upgraded to Monterey and it is absolutely impossible to get support as to how to uninstall this product. None of the advice on their website actually works. I have waited for support for over 2 hours on several different days.
My computer is currently not protected and I am at my wits end as to how to remove this software from my system. Or to even get a human to help me. The Sophos blurb suggests that a Home Premium package gets support but this is simply NOT TRUE.
There is no one to help. Sophos is like a virus on my computer and I can't get rid of it.

I keep receiving emails from this company and when I contacted them to ask to be removed they said there is no department available to help with such a request !!
This was a very helpful company but it has changed beyond recognition. I dont believe the company understands how small companies need to be treated. Sophos have now adopted an American model of aggressive sales techniques which I shy away from. I spent best part of one hour asking for a ball park figure for a small company with a couple of PCs but that was too difficult because their sales staff were only interested in asking endless questions. Sophos I believe is now over managed. Too many managers for the small business. I opted for f-secure. No pressure selling just decent business transaction. Sophos you need to think again!
