I opted for Sol-Teq to install our solar system as they were local.
I had spoken to another supplier/installer who told me that we couldn't put the system where we wanted it but Dave and the team came up with a few options and advice on the best solution for us. Dave provided great service when looking at options and was very flexible at considering all the extras we wanted. Richard did a great job of installing the system and made a very tidy job .
The system is up and running and am now looking forward to a much reduced electricity bill!

To be honest, I knew little about Solar but I was drawn to Sol- Teq because I wasn’t being constantly badgered over the phone but answered my queries honestly and promptly. Amy was always available for help and advice.
Installation was rapidly organised and the installer Richard was an extremely neat and tidy worker and very friendly and helpful. My 12 roof panels and 10kw battery and inverter and working brilliantly and now in April, paying for all of my electricity needs. Haven’t regretted choosing them and would recommend the company to anyone.

Sol‑Teq recently installed a 13.68 kW ground‑mounted solar array for me, along with a Fox ESS hybrid inverter, around 20 kWh of storage, and power‑cut backup. The ground‑mounting system is solid, installed with ground screws, and the panels are aligned well — the whole setup looks very tidy and clearly done to a high standard.
They were flexible with how I wanted the cabling routed into and through the house, and all the electrical work was completed neatly. Communication with Sol‑Teq was good throughout, and they were quick to respond to any questions.
Commissioning was straightforward, and any fine‑tuning was sorted quickly by Fox engineers remotely. The system was up and running properly in no time.
Overall, I’m very happy with the installation and would happily recommend Sol‑Teq.

We employed Solteq to install a 40-panel solar installation on our church roof, together with 11.6KWh battery storage, inverter and all cabling etc. During the quotation process Solteq provided considerable and very detailed information on their proposals and were very responsive and quick to help adapt the proposals to provide us with the best solution, carefully analysing our usage and the pitch/orientation of our complex pyramidal roof structure.
Once the order was placed the team were very good at keeping us up to date with progress in obtaining the necessary DNO permission and in planning the works for us, via a simple site survey. The price included a structural check of our roof’s load bearing capability, and all scaffolding, skip hire and permissions, so there were no hidden extra fees.
On site the co-ordination with the erection of scaffolding, skip delivery, delivery of materials and the staff team was first class, and remarkably stress free for our team on site. The installation itself was completed in a couple of days, and the system has worked perfectly from day 1, saving us about 75% of our power use in its first month.
The work was undertaken in a safe and very tidy manner, with a good handover to our site team upon completion. After installation Solteq completed the sign-off processes with the DNO speedily to enable us to complete the Smart Export Guarantee process and begin to receive payment for our surplus energy exports.
The team were very helpful, and we could not speak highly enough of the standard of delivery by Amy, Richard and David, who were so accommodating of our needs throughout the process.

From the start, Sol-teq listened to our needs and wants and provided a competitive quote - no hard sell, straight talking and a real willingness to provide the best solution for the budget. The ground mounting system they sourced for us is top notch.
Faultless support given through DNO and planning permission applications. Clear communications through the process and patience when needed when it came to planning.
Installation went without a hitch and ahead of advised schedule. I challenge anyone to show me a better, more professionally installed ground mounted domestic setup.
We did face some commissioning issues as the Duracell system we chose was new to the team but the response from Sol-teq cannot be faulted - were it not for this, it'd be 5 stars no questions. The issues extended to set-up of the controls system rather than anything fundamental with the install. This was due to unfamiliarity with the new Duracell set-up which I'm sure learnings have been taken and they now know the app inside out! Throughout this time, I cannot fault the support given - Sol-teq were understanding, responsive and worked hard to getting it working 100%. We got there and I'm very pleased with the end result.

The quote I got from SOL-TEQ was competitive.
All the paperwork was in order before the scaffolders arrived , then the install team came a couple of days later , they brought all the components and equipment needed , they were a clean safe and efficient team of lads.
I'm very pleased with the results, I'm now looking forward to saving £££'s on my electricity bill.

Brilliant company to work with. Installation was promt and faultless, the engineers were clean and very helpful. Aftercare has been topnotch. The actual pv system works brilliantly using the most up to date panels. The battery is simple and very user friendly. I have been able to use the owner apps to see in real time how much electric I am producing, using and storing. Can't recommend highly enough.
