Sogowns web site is no longer up. Ordered a mother of the groom dress, ordered it a little bigger and it still did not fit. Their return and exchange policy is a joke. The only way you think your getting contact with them is through email but it seems to be automated. Would not give me a full refund offered me 40.00 and then I can re sale it. Yes they are in China. So I still have the gown and have not seen any type of refund. I found the same exact dress on NCgowns and the web site looked just like sogowns. Buyer be ware.

Never, never order from Sogown.com. Please read the reviews before you even think about ordering. I have waited over 10 weeks for my refund. I will never get it. They are in China!! They lie!!! They cheat!!! Awful /no customer service!!!

Sogown does not comply with their return and refund policy. The pantsuit is unsuitable. The pants fit nicely but the top and jacket is to small. I've tried to return it back with the original address and they informed they will not accept the outfit. Please buyers beware, this is not a company that you should do business with. I'm out of an outfit for the wedding and out of a large amount of money.

Sogowns shouldn’t be doing business. They say that they accept refunds but they don’t. Their dresses are nothing like you see in their website. I made a purchase in June and I’m still waiting to hear from them. DO NOT BUY FROM SOGOWN, you’ll loose your money for sure.

Don't order and try to return an item as you won't get any updates or your money back. I sent back a dress in April. Correspondence was decent then, but I still have no refund and no answer to my emails with tracking info etc. which I sent to person on other end. I know dress is in country of purchase and still says sitting in customs. TERRIBLE service to get a refund so don't try to do a return or if you buy, you have to keep

Sogown is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. If you need to return the dress, you will NOT get your money back, even though there is a refund policy on their website. They tell you to email them, but they do not answer the emails.

I purchased a black tea length dress for a wedding. I also paid extra for faster shipping. The dress finally arrived after weeks, and the dress was navy and a full length gown. I sent an email and the only response was “get it altered”. They will not respond to any more of my emails. DO NOT PURCHASE from Sogowns!!

If I could give this company a zero star I would I was looking for evening gowns for my son’s wedding and came across this website. It should’ve been a red flag to me because the company only communicate via email there is no phone number to call I ordered a dress that I thought look nice when it arrived. It was nothing but cheap looking and tacky, I searched for a phone number for this company to find nothing. I emailed them numerous times and I got one response back asking me if there was anything wrong with the dress I explain no there was nothing wrong with the dress it just looked cheap and I wanted to know the address to where I would send it back so I could get my credit of $188 , I’ve had no response back do not buy anything from this company. Always make sure if you buy something online. It has a phone number just in case you need to call and speak to someone regarding an issue.

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding. First of all I've never made a purchase online were I wasn't familiar with the company. That was my first big mistake. The dress didn't fit at all. I reached out to find out the process for a return. The dress didn't come with any paper work. I was told several times in emails it would be to costly to return. Evidently it needed to be shipped back to China. Then I was offered only 10% of my monies back. Which I was completely unsatisfied with. Then I received another email offering me 15%. I shouldn't have to barter to receive a full refund. I strongly recommend you DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I have ever intent to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

This is a scam company. The dresses are horrible sizing, material, and just ugly. There are no returns and they will lie over and over to you. They are located in China. If you need a return contact your credit card company to file a document of disagreement with the company. I got some help.

I have NEVER left a review for any company, however, my mother purchased a gown from here to wear to my wedding. Upon arrival, it didn't fit. When she followed the instructions on SoGowns website to apply for a refund, she was given a run around. First, they asked for pictures of her in the outfit as proof that it does not fit, ridiculous, who does that?! She obliged, and sent the pictures to them. They said that it must look better in person, and that she should wear it anyways. To this, she responded that she would not, and she wishes to send it back for a refund. She was then told that the warehouse is in China, and that the shipping cost wouldn't be worth her returning it. She responded to this with, I will be returning it so please issue my refund upon receiving the item (as it does say that SoGowns offers refunds). They said they would apply for her to recieve a partial refund. AWFUL. She paid $250 for her gown, and on top of it being a terrible fit for her, the quality of the item she recieved was comparable to pyjamas. I am so disappointed and disheartened by the deception and theft brought fourth by this company. I strongly advise you to purchased your formal wear elsewhere so that you do not fall victim to the same theft as she did.

This is the worse online customer service ever. Please do not order from this company.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding they sent the wrong-colored gown and informed me that it would be too costly to have another gown shipped back to them. The dress came in a tiny bag balled up. I could not believe it. They gave me one excuse after another as to why the gown could not be exchanged for the color I originally ordered. They keep asking for a picture of the gown which I gave, and they insulted me by offering 10% of the purchased price. They never gave me 10% instead they told me to keep the gown or resale it myself. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I’ll add my poor review to the growing list in the hopes of saving someone else from making the same mistake I did! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YPU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. I ordered a MOB dress for my granddaughters wedding, I paid extra $$ for expedited shipping, however it was not expedited. After 6 weeks I received the dress wadded up in a very small bag, tried it on and the zipper head pulled off the first time I zipped it up. I immediately contacted the company, took them 3 days to answer me after I sent 4 emails. Like the other reviews I was told that it would be too costly to return and suggested I take it to a tailor for repair. At this point I had 3 days before the wedding so I went out and bought another dress. I did take the dress to my local alterations shop and was told the entire dress would have to be taken apart to install a new zipper and it would be too costly. So I have a dress that I paid $200 for that is totally useless, I can’t even donate it because it’s unwearable! I’ve been back and forth with this company to attempt a return and refund to no avail. I have disputed this charge on my credit card. They are fraudulent!!

We purchased 3 gowns from this company (bridal gown and 2 bridesmaid dresses). All 3 were poorly made and not wearable. No hems, puckering at the zipper, missing buttons, seams not matching in addition to other poor quality issues. The worst part is that when we tried to communicate with them, they took forever to respond and are refusing to refund our money. Finally, they offered a 10% refund and we can keep the dresses. $60.00 for dresses that no one can wear! They will try to talk you out of sending the dresses back and tell you they will probably get lost.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Sogowns does not even deserve a 1 rating!! Extremely disappointed!! The only thing that went well was their taking my payment! Delivery was long and when the mother of the bride pant suit arrived the quality and fit were aweful! There was also a terrible chemical smell to the clothing! Multiple attempts to reach out to sogowns for return following their return policy went unanswered !!! Unfortunately I’m out $189.00 - hopefully this review will save someone else from making the same mistake!!!!

See review below this one. I had the same experience. The product was sub-par and when I requested a refund, they requested a picture of the gown to prove it was their product despite having copies of email exchanges regarding order and status of order. Long story short, they offered to refund $20 for a $245 dress and suggested I just donate the dress. Run! Complete scam!

I do not recommend this company. The dress I ordered was way too big not as the size chart claimed. Now it has become impossible to send it back and get a refund. They asked for a photo of the dress so they could "determine that the dress was one of ours." What?? they had my order number and paperwork. I sent the requested photo with a copy of the order and it's been over a month. No response from my followup emails. I'm out $200.00 and have a dress I will never wear. Do not give them your money!

They are horrible, they're lying, and the products you'll receive doesn't have anything in common with advertise pictures.
After placed your order they're hiding , no phone contacts and lots of trouble.
So, friendly, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from SOGOWNS !
