anyway, after it completed I found my wallet bled dry. there was not much to begin with, but its annoying. it turns out they penalize people for not switching fast enough ? They transferred %25 of my assets each month as a penalty.

Terrible app. Full of bugs. Doesn't allow you to update to new wallet. Constantly crashes and no one replies back. They just making it impossible to access while they take away the assets you hold. Very unfair.

Update - support reached out to me after 24hrs, seem i was using the wrong number (user error), came back very professional and with clear instructions. I must say, i was very impressed witbthe level of service, hence the rating
i have downloaded the app again to transfer my wallet.
When i press login, it asks me for my mobile number and sends me a 6 digit code which i enter.
It then asks me to add my email, at that point it tells me its already registered and to log in.
Clicking login, takes me back to the enter your mobile number. I am just going around in a loop, can someone sort this mess out. It even does it on the website so an obvious bug.

As a Socios user, I visited the Spurs vs Qarabag game in the VIP box which took place on 26th September 2024, and I took my friend with me as a guest.
The following day, 27th October, I received an email from the Socios Rewards team stating I had received 6 months ban for passing my tickets to a 3rd party, with no other details given.
Same day, my guest, who went with me, received an email threatening him with a ban unless he provides the information about who he attended the match with.
I immediately replied to the Rewards team, sending them pictures from the VIP box - I received the reply to my email on 02.10. stating: 'Unfortunately, the images supplied do not sufficiently confirm your presence at the match. As a result, the ban will remain in place until 27th March 2025.'
My friend provided the explanation that he went to the event with me as my guest - he received the reply to his email also on 02.10. stating: 'Having reviewed your explanation, we are satisfied with your response and will not implement any ban.
Since I challenged the decision because I simply attended the game, I sent another email on 27th September, another one on 30th September and another on 03rd October. I shared with Socios Rewards Team the following:
- pictures from the actual event with time stamp and showing it was taken on my phone
- pictures proving I downloaded and used the game tickets on my phone (at Spurs, one can download the tickets to the phone wallet)
- pictures confirming I visited London
- pictures confirming I visited other event though Socios (Harlequins rugby game which took place on 28th September 2024)
- I even shared a bank statement showing I paid for a beer close the stadium before the actual game
I also have flight tickets, accommodation invoice, musical tickets I attended – I offered to share all what I have from my London trip to prove I was there. I contacted Socios Rewards Manager directly since I have her details from the previous event, and also Socios Customer Service Team.
I did not receive a single answer back, no reaction to my emails whatsoever, yet, on 11th October 2024, I received a simple mail: ‘As mentioned in the email dated October 2nd, the ban will remain in place until 27th March 2025. Any tickets redeemed before the end of the ban will not be processed, and the associated reward points will not be returned. Please note that this decision is final, and we will not be engaging in further correspondence on this matter.’
This is Socios.com, the enterprise which will not communicate with you, will ignore you and will ban you, without any proof or explanation.
The biggest mystery to me is why they do not communicate with me, why they ignore all my emails, why nobody just sends me a normal answer saying where they see the problem, or why nobody just picks up the phone and call to explain?
It really feels like nobody cares!
Update as of 14/10/24 - I have contacted directly Tottenham Hotspur and Harlequins, since I care about these two clubs the most, and socios cancelled my tickets redeemed for these 2 clubs. (In the end, socios is only 3rd party provider, issuer of the tokens, main stakeholders are the clubs).
Update as of 18/10/24 - Socios kindly responded to my review, stating ' we have reasonable suspicions that a breach has occurred'.
I don't understand why nobody cares/cared to clarify this suspicion with me for 3 weeks, and they only react to a public review.
Also, banning somebody based on suspicions? No proofs needed, no questions asked?
Bottom line is, last week, I offered to visit Socios office (either in London or Vilnius) personally and meet their representative, so that I could show everything I have on my phone - no reaction on my proposal at all.
In my opinion, they partly don't care and they also by now, must know, they are wrong in this case, but they are too deep in it to back off and admit the mistake.

One day, without a word to users, they've raised the fees for buying tokes from 1% to 20%... even when their rules still said 1%, then they just deleted the rule... and still didn't send any communication to users… totally opaque: fee rate isn't indicated in the whole buy process!
You can't really trust them, when you start to enjoy the APP they can change all the rules any day, with no advise… no excuses, even if temporary, and even more if it's temporary, users should be warned!
