I’ve just completed a 2-week barbering course with Brandon, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. I came into this course with no prior experience, and I’m walking away with real knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills that I never thought I’d gain in such a short time. I’ve learnt so much — far more than I expected — and it’s all thanks to Brandon.

Brandon’s patience, skill, and passion for barbering are absolutely unmatched. His ability to teach, explain, and guide with such care made every day a valuable learning experience. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and I genuinely wouldn’t have the skills I have today without him. I’ve got a lot of thanks to give him — not just for the education, but for the encouragement and support too. He’s a credit to the industry and an all-around amazing guy.

Huge thanks also to Ross and the rest of the team in the salon. They made the course run smoothly, and the environment was always welcoming and supportive. As a woman stepping into a male-dominated space, I was nervous at first, but everyone made me feel completely comfortable from day one. Their friendliness and professionalism made such a difference.

I don’t have a single bad word to say. This course exceeded every expectation, and I’ll definitely be back for the masterclasses. Wishing all the team the absolute best — thank you again for everything!

I couldn’t fault anything given during this course. The skills learnt in the academy were everything I was hoping for from this course, I felt like I could confidently come away and start cutting hair by myself.

I’ve recently finished the 16 week society barbering course during these weeks we covered all different sides of thing from sectioning, clipper work, scissor work, hair types and more everything that was covered in each topic was shown and presented in a lot of detail and demonstrated to ensure we all understood the task in hand for everything we went through i honestly couldn’t fault it at all i went from Absolutely zero barbering knowledge to being to tackle a haircut that comes to me wether its A fade a scissor cut or beard trim i have the confidence and knowledge to approach it in the correct way i can’t complain at all Ross and Brandon were great teacher throughout i learnt so much in the time we had with them by each session they ensured that we continued to progress the whole time I honestly recommend the course to anyone who’s looking to get into barbering and learn the trade in the correct way from the skilled barbers , big thank you to Ross and Brandon

Where do I even start… the course was beyond amazing, all the lads at Society in Shefford are a credit to the barbering industry. The course was well presented, structured and extremely knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend this course to others who are looking to pursue a career in barbering, thank you boys👊🏼
