A modern, fun and interactive approach to learning Dutch

I have been attending Koen's A2- course, as I did with A1- and A1+ and it's been an incredibly journey so far.

The contents are really well-designed and integrated, you always feel like you're learning new things in a really nice pace.

The approach is very distinctive from what you would learn in a traditional school, Koen makes it fun and super interactive, with a lot of different type of exercises, not just watching videos or writing the same sentences over and over again.

As for the classes, they're so good! The groups are generally small and very equal skillwise which allows for a cozy and comfortable atmosphere but at the same time you feel like you're out of your comfort zone by practicing everything you're learning which forces you to learn a lot. It's gold specially if you don't live in the Netherlands.

Koen is de beste

Koen is de beste! This is not a random Dutch-speaking person posing as a teacher and trying to make you learn a word or two. Koen approaches his lessons in a scientific and systematic way, the learning program is well-structured, and the course platform he built is top-notch. At the same time, the learning doesn't feel formal or boring. My original motivation to take the course was to prepare for the inburgeren exams, but I enjoyed the process so much that now I'm thinking of going to B1 and beyond.

Would recommend, fun, informal with a wide range of content

Would recommend, my 1 &2 courses were taught by Koen, who is kind with lots of energy and keen to help and make it fun. Course content is tailored to Ex pats, newly settling in to the Netherlands. I do feel I needed to do more prep work for the classes than was communicated, but notes and extra activities are easily accessible online to allow you to do that.

Je bent een baas, jonge!

Koen is one of the most hardworking people I know with an obsessive mission to improve Dutch language learning online. His creative way of putting together both courses and content which engage learners as well as his customer-oriented philosophy guarantees that he is one of the few real gems online worth listening to and following in this space.
