We’re very sorry for the stress and disruption this caused. Unfortunately, your booking was affected by a rare technical error on Booking.com’s side, which incorrectly displayed one of our studios at £2 per night. We reported the issue immediately, and Booking.com confirmed and corrected the error.
Booking.com wrote to you and offered to honour the corrected booking rate, but you chose not to proceed, which is why the reservation was ultimately cancelled. While this situation was entirely outside of our control, we completely understand your frustration and sincerely apologise for the impact on your plans.
As a long-standing 5-Star Superhost, we pride ourselves on excellent guest service and reliability. This incident was not caused by us, and does not reflect the standards that have earned us our rating and reputation.

Great Airbnb with a great location
We had a really pleasant stay in our room (8) in SoBo House Brighton! The location is great, near the sea and near a lot of good cafés and various other places to eat.
The room was very clean with cute decoration. We slept on the wall bed and the sofa (converted into a bed) and slept very well on them:)
Our host and contact Ramona was really kind and helpful! We got good descriptions about where to find the keys and toiletries and cleaning supplies, so we had no trouble finding them.
It's a quiet and pleasant neighborhood.
All in all, we can recommend a stay in the SoBo House Apartments and looking forward to our next visit!

stayed here for the brighton marathon
stayed here for the brighton marathon, the apartment was perfect nice and clean. Romona was very helpful. close to the beach, so was only a 15 min walk after the finish line thankfully! will 100% recommend and stay.

This place was exactly what I needed
This place was exactly what I needed for my night in Brighton. Two minutes walk to the beach and close to everything I could possibly want, especially the start line of the half marathon.
I had an issue in the evening and I messaged Ramona telling her that I wasn’t feeling great and she went above and beyond to reassure me.
The gourmet kitchen is on a different level and they have all the basic things you need to cook as well as fun toys (air fryer, etc.)
There were also some very nice touches like biscuits, cereal, sleep kits and other things in the apartment. I would 10000% recommend people staying here.

(What I liked)
- The shared pantry is always stocked with garbage bags, toilet paper, sponges, etc., so you won't have any trouble with daily life.
- You can enjoy mineral water, snacks, tea, herbal tea, coffee, and other services whenever you like.
- Everyone staying there is safe and secure (messages about noise, etc.)
- The best thing about it
If you have any problems, they will respond immediately if you contact them. They rushed to help with things like repairing the shower and replacing the coins used for laundry.
The host has a warm and hospitable heart!

Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and keep the whole building lovely and clean. Also, fantastic location with plenty of restaurants, shops etc and a few minutes walk to the beach.

I had a great experience in SoBo house. I spent almost 6 months there. Staff is respectful, cooperative and helpful and available for 24/7. Facilities are good. If anyone wants to come to Brighton and hove for visit, SoBo house is a best place to stay.

Attentive host and great place

Had a wonderful stay with my 5month old…
Had a wonderful stay with my 5month old and my husband here ,for a weekend. Clean and cozy serviced apartment with all essentials. Walkable distance from the beach. What I loved most is that they were kind enough to provide a crib for my 5month old which really made our nights very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Be aware the room is small yet manageable. But there are communal cooking areas and bathroom.

Lovely place to stay for a weekend. The studio was finished to a very high standard and was exceptionally clean. The hosts were very responsive and kind when responding to our requests. The communal kitchen downstairs is a great asset to the guest experience, would definitely recommend and would come again.

Beautiful place and they really look after you
Stand-out excellent customer care, extremely well designed accommodation, all areas pristine clean, recently refurbished and lovingly maintained. I was provided with extra decaff coffee pods, a squeaky hinge was fixed within the hour and I was offered help with my luggage. A kitchen lover must have led the design: the landing kitchenettes have stainless steel surfaces, good quality appliances and a beautifully presented selection of teas and cereals. The main kitchen downstairs is also beautiful, fantastically well appointed and could accommodate two separate cooking groups although I didn't see it being used so I doubt it's ever that full. I felt secure and very well looked after at SoBo House. The pull-down bed was comfortable. The couch is modern and fine for perching but cosying up would require something inventive, using the cushions and the bedding, perhaps. At least that encouraged me to go out! Highly recommended for cooks and everyone but couch potatoes 😊

Glad I did!
When I was looking for a place to stay in Hove after an unpleasant Airbnb experience, I came across Sobo House. The Google reviews frightened me and I had to call the property to ask why this was the case. They explained that these were outdated reviews and had refurbished the place.
I trusted their word and booked the place and what can I say? Three weeks in and I couldn’t be more pleased to have booked this place.
Someone described it as an intelligent use of space and truly, whoever designed it is a thinking person.
James and Ramona are incredible. When they say their phone is never off, it literally is never off.
The kitchen was so clean I always hesitated cooking in it but always had a seamless cooking experience.
Aww I’m going to miss my apartment.
