Absolutely love my sofas
Absolutely love my sofas. Was afraid to buy without trying first but these are super comfortable and cozy. They look fabulous and everyone that has visited loves them and wants to replace their furniture with a snug. I got the snug rebel 1.5 and 2 seater in gray with black legs.
Buyer needs to know
The sofa is as comfortable and as good as I expected it to be. Attractive and colour as shown on website.
However, the video on its assembly is very misleading as it shows a woman putting together a Rebel 1.5 sofa all by herself when in reality this customer needed the help of two others to fit the back and pushing in the sides at the back to align the slots.
The packaging of many very substantial and heavy boxes was difficult to manage. Stronger advice is needed to encourage customers to have the sofa unboxed and assembled by those delivering it.
Even more difficult than unboxing and assembling the sofa's back (which required help from 2 others) was breaking up and cutting up the boxes to take them to the tip. The suggestion of keeping the boxes is ridiculous, given how much space the boxes take.
The sofa fabric is not stain or water resistant, but this information is not included in the description, or, if it is, it needs to be more apparent.

So far...awful
So far... an awful experience.
Ordered online on Friday the 2nd of August after speaking to one of the team on the phone who confirmed the sofa was in stock and that I could call back and amend the delivery slot over the phone if needed.
Delivery was due today the 6th of August and I took time off work to make sure I was in to sign for it, but received no text/email/call to state an approx. time frame the night before as mentioned in the order email.
I called them this afternoon to be told 'Ah sorry we have no stock now until September the 13th' When I questioned if they are definitely going to get stock the answer was 'maybe'!?!?
Multiple other customers with the same issue tells me that they are accepting orders knowing they do not have the stock and have no intention of honouring the quoted delivery dates.
The only reason I have not cancelled is that a friend recommended them so will give them the benefit of the doubt this time and update if we actually receive this in September.
Communication takes 5 minutes and would save you guys a lot of hassle.

Terrible Customer Service. Avoid.
I ordered a sofa from Snug in June. The closest slot was mid July, this delivery was then postponed with a days notice. Delivery was rescheduled for 5th of August, no delivery time given. I tried all morning to contact Snug and the company delivering my sofa, only to be told that the item is now out of stock. I have no idea how I was able to order and pay for an item that’s no longer in stock, I can only imagine it’s been a mishap on their end. I was offered a discount code for another sofa but I’d never have any dealings with this company again. Awful customer service.

Very impressed
Very impressed. Arrived in boxes clearly marked and literally took my two daughters less than 15 mins to put together two sofas and a footstool. The colour is lovely and as expected. The sofas are so comfortable compared to my old ones. The size of the sofas is perfect for my room. Would highly recommend.

Would NOT recommend buying from this company!! No contact from the company regarding a sofa that we were told would be delivered on chosen date. Had to contact every day for 3 days before we got the answer ‘no stock, MIGHT be with you by September’ simply not good enough, feel as though they would have kept stringing us along until they actually either cancelled the order or worse. Nobody available to help nor escalate, waiting on response to an official complaint - heard nothing and doubt I will now

Tried to order three separate sofas, all of which were listed as 'in stock' even those after the supposed "stock issues" had been resolved. First was cancelled, second wasn't delivered and got pushed to September, third hasn't arrived either, and is the subject of this review.
The last one was supposed to be delivered today, and the delivery company said they didn't have the stock in from Snug, so I called Snug to ask. Apparently it is due in over 20 days now.
I was told the site had been updated, but I checked and the very sofa that I was told 'wasn't in stock' still had 7 listed as 'in stock' on the website. I don't blame the call centre for this, as it's probably not their fault and I don't think they mean to lie directly to their customers, but it means you still can't trust the stock indicated on their site, after they've "fixed it."
At this point, as it seems like the parent company might be about to shutter Snug entirely, the warranty won't be worth anything and the '100 days' guarantee seems like it won't be worth anything either.
I'd recommend avoiding Snug until the parent company decides if it wants to keep them going. Right now the site is actively lying to you, and the delivery dates are pulled out of thin air.
We're going elsewhere, fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me; fool me three times, get the message...

Comfortable and affordable
Love the style, comfort and fabric of the sofa. Pretty easy to put together. Delivered quickly. Good to know I can return it but very unlikely to.
My beautiful midnight blue sofa bed…
My beautiful midnight blue sofa bed loved by all my family especially my gorgeous cat. The mattress is not thick but I added a topper and now it is great for guests. Delighted with it as a sofa as well. So comfy. Also have the footstool which is also loved by my cat 😂
No response from support
Ordered a sofa only for it to be cancelled six days later which meant most styles had sold out and I had limited options left. They’d oversold and didn’t have the stock to fulfil that order which is incredibly frustrating.
Foolishly I ordered again, shipping was for three days later which seemed unlikely but not impossible but that day came and went with nothing, I contacted the delivery company and they let me know they didn’t have the order in stock and were waiting for Snug to send more. So I tried to contact Snug to find out if the order will be fulfilled but got no response to either my phone calls or email. So now I’m in limbo, no idea whether the sofa I ordered is coming or if it will be suddenly cancelled again.

Ordered in May 2024, got a delivery date for 31/07/24.
I took the day off work, I called the company at 9am to find out a delivery time. I was told someone would call me back. At 12.30 I’d still not heard anything so I called them again. I was told there was a stock issue that they had become aware of at the weekend and my delivery would now be September!
At no point did anyone let me know there was a problem before the due delivery date so not only did I waste a day off work but I’d sold my old sofas so now have nothing to sit on!
