Tried to return my shades as they did…
Tried to return my shades as they did not fit my golf hatchback. Got the run around from Australia and when it came to ship the. It was going to cost $300!!! Told them that was unacceptable and they told me to talk to the USA office and gave me an email address. I send 3 emails and no response. Australia also told me they forwarded our original emails to USA and still nothing. I have given up as my time is worth more than fighting this company to return the items for an $80 credit. Worse customer service and they guaranteed they would fit on their website. Found out after THEY don’t carry the shades for USA golf 2 door hatchback and to use their sister company. No thanks!!!

Because you are our customer in the US, you should not have been told to return them to Australia, but to us in NYC. I was unable to find your previous 3 emails but we will get in touch to help you organize a return and offer you a full refund.
And I can confirm that the 4 door golf rear door shades you purchased do not fit the 2 door, as they are different sizes.
We hope to resolve your matter in a much more professional manner than previous.

Update: November 3 - snapShades provided a prompt response and willingness to send replacement mounts. The shipment arrived quickly, which reflects well on customer support. That said, I am still experiencing the same adhesion issue.
I understand some vehicles may have slick factory surfaces that make mounting harder, but I have not received the promised instructions on how to prepare the surface or properly install the 3M VHB tape. I remain optimistic because the team was responsive and proactive with replacements, yet I cannot recommend the product confidently and stand by my initial review.

From our experience, on rare occasions, particular vehicles have a very slick surface/oil from the factory which doesn’t help the mounts to stick. Unfortunately, these factors are out of our control.
We'd love to send you some extra mounts and further instructions on how to prepare the surface for the 3M VHB tape, which is designed to be super sticky for years of travel without damaging your trim. Please reach out to us at support@snapshades.us
Perfect fit
I purchased the shades for my 2025 honda crv. The fit was perfect and I received these in great condition. My windows are tinted and I use these to lower my windows during camping. They stay up and are great for keeping bugs out.

Hard to see kids in rear facing car seats
The Snapshades fit my Subaru perfectly. I got the two back windows and the side trunk windows to protect my 2 yr old and newborn from the sun in their eyes. The shades do a fantastic job at that. They don’t affect your visibility through the windows. My only complaint is that it’s hard to see my kids through the rearview mirror and then their mirror in their rear facing car seats because it’s dark in the backseat now.

Custom Fit to the vehicle make/model and fits into place with no effort. Easy to put into place and take out. It even hold in place when the window is brought down while driving. Though I haven’t brought the window down all the way while driving on the highway just on roads and street.
Great product and it’s holding up well.

This is a very fair observation, especially around the rear-view mirror. We try to design the front windshield shade for the Accord, keeping a few things in mind: ease of installation, protection, and heat rejection. One thing that we also take into consideration is preventing damage to the corners. Too sharp and it will be unsightly over the life of the Front Windshield Snap Shade.

They don’t stay on since magnets are too weak and they remain twisted after storing in the pouch which makes them stay attached less due to the weak magnets.

Doesn’t sit flush. Must install sticky magnets in car.
1. The shades are not flush in the BMWX3 only one side touches the magnet. Also leaves a bit of a gap.
2. The directions online never said you would have to install sticky magnets. It was misleading. The installation videos were very vague.

The X3 is indeed a little tricky to install with the divider and the sloped surfaces. We should probably do a video installation for this model for future customers. Thank you for the feedback!
14,000 mile BASE jump roadtrip
I was driving across the USA with my climbing and parachute gear in my car. It was hot AF in there and the sketch could easily see all my equipment. The Snap Shades cooled the interior and made the window virtually opaque from the outside while the view from inside remains.
