Snapmaker U1 has been working great so far

So far the two Snapmaker, you ones I have have worked flawlessly very impressed. I have eight creality printers 4 K2 plus 2 creality high and two and three version three plus all are good printers but when it comes down to multicolor printing, the tool changer is just so much better with no waste basically and very fast so far I have to say I’m very impressed. I’m already planning on buying one more new ones to complete my arsenal I have approximately 540 hours on both of these printers. Thank you very much for a good product.

10 out of 10 would recommend

Not only was the entire process, swift and easy. My printer got here fast. And without a scratch pulled it out of the box, and after twenty to twenty five minutes, I had the machine up and running and printing the benchy dragon that it starts off with.This is a wonderful machine.I would suggest it for everyone.Looking to get into the tool changer printers.

Snapmaker U1 absolutely delightful

I was undecided to get one or not read so many reviews watched so many videos. so I took the plunge and ordered. it arrived 2 days later brilliant service. bit unsure about the unboxing but was easy enough and easy to assemble the few bits that needed doing. I installed the snapmaker orca on the laptop prior the the printer arriving. once I turned it on following the on screen instructions was stright forward. connecting to laptop was easy and quick. and then you print the small dragon that is your first print. the quality is brilliant and as suggested very little waste. it does waste a little more when installing a new roll of filament. but overall im absolutely delighted with it been going none stop now for 3 days with a little break for bed time.

Yesterday

Yesterday, May 21st, I finished assembling the Marker U1. My initial impression was—well, I'm not sure what happened—but the print job stopped due to an error at print head #2. I cleaned everything again, turned off the device, and resumed the print; however, I then left for work and received another error message. This is the third time this has happened, which I simply don't understand since the machine is brand new. The specific errors vary—the error codes change as well—but the printer itself is beautiful and appears to be of very high quality. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck actually printing anything yet; even the small dragon test print that came pre-loaded failed to print successfully. Please help!

Great shopping experience

Great shopping experience. Ordered an Snapmaker U1 and it was delivered 3 days later (Germany). Product is great. It will be my new workhorse for multicolor 3D-prints.

Could be better

There are several things that are annoying on the machine. One major thing is that when a filament get stuck the machine continues to print as if it was being fed with filament, then when another color comes into play its all spaghetti. I have lost 3 prints so far and only have had the machine for a week. On my "other" machine, it senses the stuck filament and it stops printing until the issue is resolved and I do not lose my print. I can go on for a while writing, but I will close this out for now but will notify you of other problems. Thank you

The U1 is simply Amazing

The U1 is simply Amazing, I started many years ago with an Ender 3 and it was always a hassle. I loved tinkering and upgrading it, but reliable printing just wasn't easy back in the old days. Having a new gen appliance that just works is Light Years ahead of my past experience. I'm ready for the 6 tool, 350mm U2 to come out. Take my money Snapmaker, Let's Go!

I used a TPU 95A in toolhead #1

I used a TPU 95A in toolhead #1, managed the setting for optimal printing. The machine started to print it but then when the tool change occurred it stopped and cooled creating a jam in the tool head. Have tried to get it out using the guides Snapmaker sent me but nothing worked, maybe a bad tool head. Snapmaker has yet to honor the warranty and replace the toolhead. They keep wanting videos and did I try this or that. I just want the toolhead replaced. I did buy another one on my dime and would now like my money refunded.

We completely understand your concern regarding the warranty request. The reason our support team has continued requesting photos or videos is that TPU jams can sometimes be caused by filament deformation or printing conditions rather than a hardware defect alone. In order to properly determine whether the issue qualifies as a warranty replacement or reimbursement case, our technical team needs visual confirmation of the clogging condition and the current state of the toolhead.

Without being able to confirm the internal condition of the original toolhead, we’re unfortunately unable to directly approve a replacement or refund at this stage.

We truly appreciate your patience and cooperation so far, and we understand this has impacted your overall experience. Once the requested photos or videos are provided, the team will continue reviewing your case and work toward an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.
