Works great with my set up. Two minor issues were solved same day. Customer service has been excellent. Very pleased with overall experience.

As a certified non-geek, need it really easy kind of guy "SnapDownloader " was made for cats like me! Any program or app I use has to be ultra user friendly and SNAP is that.

Plus the one time I was having problems and I emailed them, they got back to me the same day and the fix was of course easy and pretty much my fault. Alex was great in helping and I so appreciate that.

I have been using Snap for many years. Heavy use as I download and load up my mp3 player so I can listen while doing my farm work. On the rare occasions that there had been an issue the developers soon address and fix it. I will continue to be a heavy user and appreciate the usability and the backing of the company.

Recently received an error while trying go download a YouTube video. Reported error and promptly received expert advise from support that resulting in fixing the problem in a timely manner.

CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP. This APP is CRAP, period... does not download audio most of the time. Sometimes it works, most of the time it does not. I rely on music for my occupation. I paid for a lifetime subscription. Boy am I ever so sorry..... CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc.

I paid $40. It said "downloading." It never did download. I explained the problem. They wrote:

In addition, please attach the app's log files so we can troubleshoot the problem. The following tutorial shows how to locate the files:

I sent what they asked for 3 times and have been thoroughly ignored! They have my $40. I have nothing but a waste of my time.

They got back to me in a very timely way and gave me a new download with their latest edition of software and it worked GREAT! It is so easy to use and I love it

I've been using SnapDownloader for years now. This is by far the best downloader I've tested and the only one I'm keeping. Support is excellent and reacts fast on ( very rare ) problems you might encounter. Regular updates are keeping this software on the top of the list ! Try it, you'll love it !

Running v.1.15.32 now and, as expected, after YT changed a byte, the whole thing no longer works... you can assume that after a Friday, the program will no longer do what it's supposed to do... from then it's just a matter of waiting for—hopefully—a quick update... If you are unlucky, there will be a new update from YT by the time you have an update of the software, and so you remain in the same situation... If it works its 'ok', but it doesn't work more than it does... frustrating!

For days I haven’t been able to download a single video, I always get the message: “Error 4001”nothing works, no other browser, no built-in browser. I also have the latest update. When will the downloader work again? Now I get the error message: "A problem occurred, error 1000". Nothing works anymore. When will the problem be fixed?

I had been using using the free version of Snap Downloader and then decided to buy the lifetime license. For three weeks or more it didn't work and I was on to support/customer service about the issue.

I supplied them with all the required information about the app log and tried urls etc... As well as that I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, with no success.

About a week ago I unsubscribed, uninstalled the app, and requested a refund. To date I've had no reply.....

In the list of supported browsers on Snap Downloader - Google Chrome is conspicuous by it's absence, and I think that this, together with changes that utube are currently making, are the main reasons why the app doesn't download videos.

Worked fine... until it didn't. Even after the October 5th update, I can't download videos like I used to. after a quick response from their CS (which I promptly replied with all the information that was requested) crickets.

I have been trying to contact snapdownloader for over 2 weeks, as I have no sound on my videos, they haven't replied at all. I do not recommend them as the support is terrible!

I got a reponse 5 weeks later, and the app is still not working. The response was after the company read my review.

When I need help with Snapdownloader they get busy fixing the problem and communicate with me right away. I couldn't be more pleased with Snap Downloaders support and performance.

I purchased a lifetime license for SnapDownloader with the expectation of consistent, reliable performance. Unfortunately, the software has been unable to download many YouTube videos, including some that free applications manage without issue. This has been quite disappointing, especially given the paid “lifetime” commitment. I hope the development team addresses these limitations and improves the app’s functionality to meet the standards users expect.

Every download gives a 4001 error. It's terrible

Great support team, who will always answer a query within a day or two- great software which is always up to date and it is so easy and basic to use, no fancy bells and whistles. I highly recommend this product 100%

Simply does not work and has not been working for at least 9 days, says it can not decode Audio or Audio not present, and this is on videos I downloaded on the same desktop only two weeks ago, even after an update, still did not work, so I went and used 4K Downloader and guess what works and have to say very good Quality, Pity as I have a life license with Snapdownloader, having said when it works it is still the best for Quality.

I got my SnapDownloader a few years ago. Up until just recently, I would have rated it 5, but recently the reliabilty and service have dropped markedly. In the past, if a particular website broke downloads, SnapDownloader would have a release out with this fixed within 2 days. Now, It has not been working on YouTube for a week and no update. Also, in the past, contacting support produced a response within 24 hours. Now queries go unanswered for days on end.

My subscription hasn't expired yet and I can't download videos
