Total Loss appraisal and Appraisal Clause using SnapClaim

I had a great experience with SnapClaim after my 2024 Subaru was totaled. My insurance company’s initial offer seemed too low compared to similar vehicles on the market. While researching options, I came across SnapClaim and used their free estimate tool. Their estimate came back about $6,000 higher than what my insurance company offered, which immediately made me question the insurer’s valuation.

Emily from their support team answered all of my questions and clearly explained the appraisal clause process. I decided to move forward and invoked the appraisal clause with their help. They charged a flat fee of $350, which was significantly lower than other competitors I looked into.

They handled the negotiation directly with the insurance company’s appraiser and were able to get me $4,800 more than the original insurance offer (before tax). The whole process was surprisingly fast and everything was resolved in just four days.

Overall, it was a great deal and a very smooth experience. If you think your insurance payout is too low after a total loss, I highly recommend giving SnapClaim a try.

I recently used SnapClaim for a diminished value appraisal after my 2024 Kia was involved in an accident in Madison. Initially, the insurance company declined my diminished value claim completely, saying they would not pay anything. After submitting the SnapClaim appraisal report and using it during the negotiation process, I was able to successfully recover $4,500 in diminished value. The report was detailed and clearly explained the loss in market value, which made it much easier to support my claim with the insurer.

What really stood out was the SnapClaim support team. They were very quick to respond whenever I had questions and guided me on how to communicate with the insurance company. When the insurer pushed back, the team helped me understand how to respond and supported me throughout the negotiation process. Their responsiveness and guidance made the entire experience much smoother and gave me confidence while dealing with the claim.

After my 2023 Dodge Durango (about 40k miles) was rear-ended, the insurance company covered the repairs but denied any diminished value. They basically said there was no measurable loss.
That didn’t sit right with me. The car now has an accident on its record, and anyone who’s bought or traded a vehicle knows that affects resale value. Dealers check Carfax, and cars with accident history usually sell for less or sit longer on the lot.
I decided to hire SnapClaim to see if it was even worth pursuing.
They prepared a detailed appraisal report comparing my vehicle to similar Durangos , same year, trim, and adjusted by mileage , with and without accident history. The value difference was clearly documented using actual market listings, not just some generic formula.
They also helped me respond to the insurance company’s pushback. The insurer initially tried to dismiss the report, but once I submitted everything properly and continued negotiations, they eventually increased their offer.
What I appreciated most was that SnapClaim didn’t overpromise. They were straightforward about the process and explained that negotiation is usually required. Communication was solid and they responded whenever I had questions.
If your insurance company says your car has no diminished value after an accident, it may be worth getting a professional appraisal. In my case, it definitely made a difference.
