We signed up for the 6 month subscription. Our first crate was delivered 3 days after purchasing the subscription, August 15th. There was a small issue with that crate but nothing substantial. It has been 6 weeks since we received that crate. We spoke with the online chat service and through the customer service email. Both are telling us that the order is still being processed and they "hope" to have it fulfilled by September 30th. At no point were we notified of the delay, nor does the company have any way to verify the status of your order. At best, we are set to receive the September crate sometime in October. We understand that delays happen but the lack of communication and the companies unwillingness to compensate their customers is unprofessional. Just be aware that their "Monthly" subscription only means that they will charge your payment method monthly, not that you'll receive the product monthly.

There were 2 bags of chips in the box and one bag was stale and the other was some kind of pickle onion flavor🤢. And a bag of Rainbow drops that tasted very old and Stale. Only one chocolate bar and it was somewhat stale. When I signed up I was asked questions about what I liked and let me just say this box was not good at all. Very Disappointed. Not sure if I want to continue getting these boxes after this and this was my first box.

I recently received a box with assortments from the United Kingdom and no offense but the only thing I found good in there was the pickled onion chips. My apologies the rest of the items were not so good.

I canceled a few months back and I'm still getting charged and sent boxes. There is no number to call to talk to a real person. So be very careful so you don't get stuck in it like I have. Poor customer service.date of cancellation is a guess at this point.

They send subpar snacks and make you pay a fee to cancel subscription. I have been to the countries they sent snacks from and they do not send the best for you to have a great experience. Cherry on top is that they make you pay to
Leave the them.

I was excited when I got my UK SnackCrate. The potato crisps were AWESOME AND FULL OF FLAVOR. I tried the IRN-BRU and it was sooo good and refreshing. However, the bag of Monster Munch was opened and stale. I had to throw it away. The Rainbow Puffs were also stale. The Twiglet snacks were just horrible. Other than that, I am definitely ordering another Snack Crate. ☺️☺️☺️

The idea is cool, but the snacks are kinda crappy. Like my Philippines box had mostly crackers. Cheap dry crackers and a super dry Ube cake. The only thing good was maybe the dried mangos and Adobe corn nuts.

I was not impressed with the first box. Not enough variety, the food was a 3/10 at best. I'm pretty sure sour was the only flavor I left out of my survey when ordering and most of the candy was sour flavored. Also not a single piece of chocolate which I was looking forward too! I guess I had higher expectations and hope the next box is better!

The shipping is a joke. 6+ weeks in between “monthly” deliveries? The advertisement says MONTHLY packages for 29.99. Also, they put in the wrong address for my first delivery. I let them know and they charged me an additional fee due to their error. Finally, it’s all trash food. High sugar and fats. Waste of money.

The candies were good but the savory treats were not. In fact, one if the pretzel looking treats we spit out. It was awful! One if the candies melted and had to be thrown away.

My boys and I were excited for our snack crate to arrive. When we received it it was the wrong box size and the snack that were in there was just sad. Please do your research be for you let a company like this get you excited with their Awesome sales pitch.. I just want my money back

Got our first box. We were so excited. OMG what a let down. We got the UK box. To reach his own I guess. But none of us liked any of the snacks provided. The flavors were awful. I did contact customer survive. They did tell me they would provide the big of the month which would be the Philippines. I have not received it yet. I am also still waiting on the Cadbury box I ordered. So far I am not very impressed with this company.

We got our first snack crate today. It was from the UK. What an experience to taste different food. My 7 year old granddaughter absolutely loved them. She gave the box 10 out 10 lol.

Just received my first order and I was disappointed.i ordered from the other company before and I got more for my money. Just got off the phone from someone telling me I signed up for a 12 month subscription I asked to see that in writing and I took screenshots of our conversation and I’m going to the BBB. How the hell yall trying to make somebody keep buying some food they don’t want with that fake advertisement. Y’all show bigger boxes of snacks and send out these mini boxes. The guy said he canceled my oreder so I will see if not I will call my credit card company. Any time I see any advertisements of this on line I will leave a bad review and tell people y’all sign them up for a year and won’t let them cancel. YOU SHOULD TAKE NOTES FROM THE OTHER COMPANY THEN MAYBE YALL WON’T HAVE TO LIE TO PEOPLE TO STAY.THE OTHER COMPANY LETS YOU CANCEL ANYTIME

The UK box we received is very interesting most of the items we like. Its funny that you can compare the items from UK to here in the US just taste a little different but just under a different name.
Can't wait until next month for a new experience!

This is such a cool idea! I love that I can try things that I normally wouldn't. And most are actually good. I have 5 kids between the 2 of us & we all try everything together - it makes it fun to see people's faces sometimes.

I’m copying another persons review here because my opinion is exactly the same - I’m left underwhelmed. Getting to try new snacks is always exciting, but I would not resubscribe.
First, I was paying $16 a month and felt like many of the boxes were underwhelming and not worth the money I was paying. There was not one chocolate item like in the ad!!
Second, I feel like the customer should be able to change any customizations throughout their subscription. For example, I wanted to switch to “just savory mix”, but was told I was unable to until my subscription ended, which would be in a year. So I was receiving snacks that I wasn’t fond of for that entire year.
Third, the customer should be able to cancel their subscription/membership anytime they want. It should be made very clear when signing up that you are unable to cancel until your membership is over. I found myself waiting for each and every month to be finally over. Cool concept, sure. But won’t be resubscribing again

Overall, SnackCrate is a good option if you're open to exploring a lot of different international flavors and don't mind being locked into a contract if you choose the 6-month subscription option.
The only complaints I have are that:
1. You don't really have any say over what goes into your box so there may be some months where your family simply doesn't find anything that they like.
&
2. You're not allowed to cancel the subscription before the 6-month period ends or get a refund--the boxes keep coming even if you chose this option by mistake or was under the impression that you could cancel/pause a box like many other subscription companies do.
All in all, SnackCrate is an excellent choice if your family is open to exploring different foods and cultures. But beware the cancellation policy because once you sign up, you're pretty much stuck with the subscription until your selected delivery schedule expires.
