Terrible Customer Service - Unwilling to Honor Their Own Refund Policy
I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with SMS-Activate, and their customer service Salawat, Consultant, has been nothing short of appalling. I rented a number through their platform, but despite waiting, I never received the verification code I paid for. According to SMS-Activate's own refund policy, I am entitled to a refund if the verification code is not received, which is exactly what happened in my case.
However, when I reached out for a refund, Salawat refused to acknowledge the issue and violated their own policy. The policy clearly states that if a verification code is not received, a refund is applicable. Instead of addressing the non-receipt of the code, Salawat repeatedly claimed:
"The number successfully accepted the call. Our solution will not change."
This is completely irrelevant to the service I paid for, which was the verification code via SMS, not an accepted call. It is outrageous that they would refuse to follow their own policies and instead push irrelevant and misleading statements.
Furthermore, their tone was incredibly rude and dismissive, refusing to engage in any meaningful way and simply repeating the same non-responsive statement. They were unwilling to offer any help or resolution, showing complete disregard for their customers. They clearly don’t care about honouring their commitments or customer satisfaction.
If you are considering using SMS-Activate, I strongly urge you to avoid them. They will not honour their policies, and their customer service is extremely unprofessional and dismissive. I am now forced to escalate this to my bank for a chargeback, but the entire experience has been a massive waste of time and energy.
