OH NO! How i wish i read these reviews before also purchasing the ETHAN field jacket (who calls a combat jacket Ethan anyway?) As others have found - the jacket took ages to arrive and appears to have been shipped from China. Looks nothing like the picture and is the flimsiest jacket i have ever seen (its more like a shirt). AVOID THIS WEBSITE

Terrible quality and nothing like the advertisements, photos, or modelled items. Don't buy anything from here.

Bought a Ethan vintage Jacket I received the worst jacket I’ve ever seen in my life it’s that thin they posted it through my letterbox.They are a total scam company stay well clear of them

* Update* I started the process of a chargeback with my Bank, I sent all my communications with this awful company to them. Maybe others can try this too and hopefully get our money back. 👍🏻

I always check the reviews before purchasing anything via an advert. They look really nice outfits but they're claiming they've been going for years. Obviously not by the reviews. When is Facebook going to stop these companies advertising?

DO NOT BUY - goods took forever to arrive. When they did they were 100% not as advertised, flimsy transparent material, sizing completely off. They have zero refund policy despite contacting them daily since the goods arrived.

Store gives the impression it has a London shop front with 25 years trading experience. I challenge you to find it, or it's address, on maps or on their website. Social Media presence for only a few months. Appears to be a web business shipping poor quality products from Asia

I'm glad I checked Trustpilot before I wasted my money - the jacket I was looking at is the subject of a poor review here.

Also, the site is using Trustpilot's star rating design to give the impression that Smithandco London has a 4.5 rating versus the 2.9 on TP.

Smith & Co London is not a real website. They lie about when they started business only registered in 2025. Also the item I bought ships from Asia not the UK. On further investigation you see the same items advertised on facebook over and over again using different boutique names that may be real outlets but the owners claim to have notified Facebook of the fraudulent use of their names… don’t buy from this

I ordered the Ethan/Vintage Field Jacket having seen it advertised on Instagram (probably my first mistake). The jacket which took 14 days to arrive (from China) was shown online as being reduced from £199.95 to £59.95 in their sale ending at 11.59 on the day I ordered (looking online the so called 'sale' is still ongoing). In my opinion this jacket is of very poor quality and not worth £5.95 let alone the £59.95 I paid, as for an original price of just under £200...dream on...I really don't think so. Advertised as being made of quality materials and 'built to last' (admittedly we are not told how long it is meant to last) it is very disappointing in all respects. I've looked at their 'returns' policy which seem too over complicated to bother so I'll be giving mine to the charity shop.On the plus side I've learned and important lesson..not to buy anything I see advertised on Instagram.
