Great Scheme, it save hours of time when tendering for various contractors in the construction industry and lifts the profile of our business.

WE FOUND SMAS WORKSAFE HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, QUICK, AND WE LIKED THE FACT THAT THEY USED THEIR OWN INHOUSE ASSESSORS, NOT OUT SIDE FIRMS WITH AXES TO GRIND, UP TO NOW WE HAVE HAD ABOUT 6 SSIPs MAINLY DRIVEN BY PRINCIPAL CONTRACTORS ALL DOING THEIR OWN THING! WE WILL NOW ONLY USE ONE SSIP AND THAT WILL BE SMAS.

The system is straight forward and review process swift each year and advise given by SMAS for improvements that we can make each year which we always take on board.

The new service this year is better than previous years and the completion of the assessment was very quick and simple.

The SMAS portal UI is superb and makes uploading documents on all formats so easy, the whole system is great. The fact that everything is saved as you go and that you can log in and out as circumstances dictate without losing track of progress is a strong plus point. The one to one support and advice from the SMAS Assessor (Kevin) was first class and really adds the personal touch to their service. As a Health & Safety professional, I would not hesitate in recommending the services of SMAS.

We have now gained our SMAS accreditation for the 4th year running. The application process is much more refined now and used alongside the Citation membership enabled our teams to complete their training modules which shows our commitment to Health and Safety, this in turn made the SMAS process more comprehensive.
Well done SMAS going from strength to strength.

SMAS are very easy to deal with - always there to assist, and with their online renewal system now in place its such an easy process.

Compared to others seemed more straightforward with easy access help and guidance and much better value.
Once we finalised our submission we had minimal queries and the certificate was issued the next day!
They do not do company group accreditations all as one but it was pleased to see SMAS insisting on seeing our CE accreditation.

Very good, very helpful and a quick turnaround once submitted. Would recommend to others.

Overwhelmed with the help I recieved from everyone at Citation

I chose SMAS over CHAS, mainly because they were more competitive and they are based in the same city as us. i am really glad i did, the process was really straight forward, they were super quick turning it around (much quicker than chas promised) and when i called i got through straight away. They were really helpful. i definitely recommend them.

Of all the SSIP schemes, SMAS is by far the most user friendly system. Whilst being as thorough as all other schemes, the time to complete the SMAS assessment is greatly reduced. It is a great system.

We submitted our application yesterday and were approved today.

I've always found SMAS the most straightforward and easiest SSIP provider to work with, their staff are knowledgeable and the response times are fantastic.

So simple, very user friendly. Very informative and straight forward. Best SSIP member scheme. Would recommend to everyone.
