Smarttask: Caveat Emptor

Smarttask offered a "lifetime deal" on Appsumo several years ago. Fast forward and they have pretty much reneged on this--with "lifetime" customers being relegated to, more or less, their free plan. I've always believed that "if they do it once, they'll do it again." Put another way: caveat emptor. Be prepared that, if you commit to this vendor, you may find the terms of service changing in somewhat of an unannounced fashion. Decent platform but be careful in how you choose vendors!
