The longest selection process in history

This was the longest selection process I have ever gone through in my 25-year career. After several interviews, I still had to take online and in-person tests. From technical knowledge to IQ, I even had to take basic math tests. I passed all the stages, but after ONE MONTH of tests and interviews, I was informed that the opportunity had been canceled. An absolutely unnecessary and exhausting process that wasted everyone's time - mine and theirs.
