This is bait and switch and it's…

This is bait and switch and it's misleading and it makes it sound like they're depositing money but they're actually taking it out and I have tried to get through to them but no matter what address they use, it doesn't open. I canceled it and it also was not clear that it was an ongoing autopay subscription.

I don't understand how these people can continue to do this.

This is disgusting. I know there are game apps that people make money and this is what they're doing to entice people to believe something is in the starting stages of a company when it's not even real to begin with. I tried to sign up and it wouldn't even let me get into the thing to play the game and it kept saying my email address was invalid when it's not.

What a bunch of jerks. Take them off and stop them ripping people off their money

Misleading

App is misleading. Rather than earning money, they take money. I'm out ($16.) in the blink of an eye. I've requested a refund. We will see

Pretty sure it’s a scam

I keep getting emails from them offering a job.
For me (based on UK) they contacted me purporting to be smartedgesolutions.co.uk

As I’m on a number of job-seeking websites it didn’t at first stick out as a scam as the job description is quite well matched to what I actually do, but I was slightly suspicious because there were a few typos and some poor wording as well as questions asking for data which one would not usually expect to give to a client or agency, particularly not on first contact.

I therefore did an online search and saw that someone who checked where their European HQ is supposed to be in Germany on street-view and there is actually nothing like an HQ there.

I checked on Glassdoor, and there were very dodgy reviews by staff, these were mostly in India.

I then searched on here and saw that there is no claimed organisation with that name and the only review said they were suspicious due to the location.

On companies house there are lots of businesses registered at this address - I’m not sure whether they are legit, but as these are flexi offices (I guess that means pay as you go?) I guess that means they don’t have to actually be there, just have a PO box or something. Other companies registered at that address included “AK Recruitment” - from whom I previously received a suspicious Whatsapp job approach, but as they couldn’t tell me my surname I caught that one quickly too.

The previous person gave 3 stars (I guess giving them the benefit of the doubt) but I’ve given 1 to ensure people read the descriptions. I have no idea what their game is (from the information they requested I would guess identity theft), but something is definitely fishy.

With the suspicious nature of all of the above I have therefore not responded but just deleted the emails and advise others to do the same.

It’s sad as now I’ve been made really suspicious of other emails I get about work.
