Best health in my 40s
Over the last couple years I had been working on establishing life changes to improve my health then would hit plateaus. Reese and Chloe help me establish short workout routine that didn’t keep me at the gym 2 hours 6 days a week, this was a game changer for me. They also help me identify key factors that had me stuck in my eating habits and how to sharpen my accountability skills. Maintaining these habits became a breeze and helped me reach my health goal that was to reach a healthy BMI and reach my weight goal, just under actually. I went into SBP wanting to be in my best health yet even if it was in my 40s. I want to lead by example since I have little eyes watching my every move. I wanted to prove to myself and them that it’s never too late to start any and your health is currency especially in a generation where pills is the solution to every illness…. But what if you can defy those odds by taking care of your health. I can’t thank Reese and Chloe enough for holding my hand and giving me support and guidance in one of my greatest accomplishments.
I've really enjoyed working with SBP
I've really enjoyed working with SBP. Both Reece and Lacey have been super helpful. I have found the training in the program to be excellent for me and the coaching and direction from Lacey has really helped me focus in on what is important to be able to eat well, get in loads of protein and be in a calorie deficit and not feel like I'm "missing out" which is crucial for successful weight loss. Having that one to one coaching has really made all the difference for me to tweek and improve what I was already doing. I can definitely see the changes in the mirror so thanks a lot to the team. Its given me the basis which I can keep in from now to continue to loose weight and get more and more fit.

Trust the process
As a female that has tried most of the diets around, and was cardio training a minimum of five days a week with little impact to weight loss, I was super sceptical and determined to find flaws.
However, in four months I have lost 8 kilos, tons of inches all over and dropped a dress size; I haven’t sacrificed any personal events (Christmas and a milestone birthday that went on for 6 weeks and still lost weight) in fact I’ve been eating more than I did before.
This isn’t a quick fix, it’s a lifestyle change, but for the better. Changing the types of food I ate and the type of exercises have made the weight loss and inches possible.
You’ll need to trust the process and give it 100% - it works!

I’ve worked with SBP for many years now. Without this coaching I would not be where I am now. Not only did I achieve results beyond what I could have imagined, but have made training and overall fitness part of my daily lifestyle. Looking forward to the next stage. Wanted it to work, but it wasn’t right for me
I really wanted SBP to work for me, and I can see how it could be a great fit for some people. Unfortunately, it wasn’t right for me and, at close to £300 per month, it ended up feeling like an expensive mistake.
I’m a 54-year-old woman with older teenage children, juggling work and family life while trying to make sustainable health and lifestyle changes. My initial call was with Reece, who I really liked, and in hindsight I probably signed up too quickly.
My experience felt like a bit of a lottery with coaching. Mine didn’t meet my expectations and, over the six months, I didn’t lose any weight. I repeatedly asked for more specific, personalised guidance and support. I did reach out to Reece and was told things would change, but in practice they didn’t.
A lot of the communication also felt impersonal. The WhatsApp messages came across as automated “blanket” prompts rather than tailored coaching. For a premium membership fee, I expected a more personal touch and more individualised support.
I also found the onboarding unclear. At the start, there wasn’t enough step-by-step guidance on what to do first or what to focus on, and I was faced with a long list of information that felt overwhelming.
One other point: I’m still not clear what access (if any) you retain to the content or information after the six months ends.
Overall, SBP may work well if you’re very self-directed, have plenty of time, and are happy to navigate the programme independently. If you’re paying for structured, hands-on, personalised coaching, I’d suggest thinking carefully before committing.

I started with SBP about 4 months ago and it's been life changing. I had started my weight loss journey prior to joing the SBP team but I was a bit aimless and unstructured. Chloe got me lined up with an amazing program that fit my schedule. Establishing daily habits has given me the structure I needed to really stay committed.
My biggest struggle was my mindset. I've always been all or nothing when it came to my health. I was either perfect or a failure. Chloe has helped me really rethink that. Consistency and showing up is what matters. She's my biggest cheerleader and her support has made such a difference for me.
The team is very responsive when I have questions. Reece and Chloe are always happy to help in any way.
I've come so far in 4 months, I almost can't believe it. This program works! It's been a truly lovely and incredible experience and I am so thankful for the SBP Team.
If you're ready to commit to yourself and take your health to the next level, you will not regret joining SBP.
Smart Body and Performance has been a…
Smart Body and Performance has been a really positive experience for me. I’ve tried a few similar services before, but they never quite gave me what I needed. It felt different from the start. Lacey and Reece were genuinely supportive, and they took the time to understand what was going on in my life as well as what I was trying to achieve.
The app and check-ins helped keep me steady. Even when I was dealing with personal challenges, they didn’t make me feel like I was falling behind — they just helped me keep moving forward. I’ve made real progress, and I honestly credit a lot of that to how they work. I’d happily recommend them to anyone who wants something that feels both structured and truly personal.
Life enhancing
I’m perhaps an unusual example of a SBP member! I joined having already lost 10kg gained due to a long period of illness and inactivity. Ultimately, I want to lose another few kg and do a bit of re-comping. But right now, because of significant life stresses, my first goal is/was maintenance.
I’m so glad I joined. Lacey, my coach, is great. She set me some goals around daily calories and protein macros; daily habits around steps, sleep, water etc; and 2 - 3 weights sessions a week. The whole thing is really enjoyable. I’m eating food I love and nothing is off limits. In fact I am surprised at how much food I can eat and keep my weight the same. The gym sessions are especially good. Although I was not imagining any changes at this stage, I have felt stronger physically and mentally as a result of my program and the support. I’ve even switched some body fat for muscle without particularly thinking about it. I’m making some big mindset shifts too, and the whole thing is giving me structure, focus and me-time when so much of my life is uncertain and chaotic. It’s definitely proving to be a life-enhancing experience!
Worth the investment.
This experience has taken 5 years off my virtual age. I am stronger and healthier. I started being physically active years before SBP with Martial arts, but strength training has made such a difference. I couldn’t control weight gain, now I feel fit, look leaner, the scale still hasn’t budged much as I am building muscle while losing fat, but I look quite different. My journey has been far from perfect with a gynaecological surgery and hormonal medication getting in the way, but it is worth the investment in my health.
Lacey is great, always positive, always helping with mindset making sure I don’t give up and reassuring that results will start to be clearer. Helping me understand my body through the different cycle phases. After the surgery she changed my workout routine to fit my post-surgery situation. Reece checks in several times a week pushing for performance and making sure all is on track and providing guidance for eating out.
Success
I’ve had great success while using the SBP coaching and membership. Lacey is supportive and encouraging. I have been able to level up at each phase, building confidence and muscle.
Would recommend
Can't complain about this programme. The team is extremely attentive and available every day. The workouts are very much tailored to you and they will change them up so they don't get boring as much as you need them to, which is great. That said, I am yet to lose a significant amount of weight (I'm 2.5 months in) but at the end of the day, that will come down to me making bigger nutrition changes, which the team will also happily help you with. The app is easy to use and it's nice to tick things off each day. Of course, it is quite expensive and ideally you need to have access to a gym on top, but my PT, Lacey, has given me plenty of exercise sessions I can do at home (I have bought some dumbells) so I don't pay for a full gym membership on top.
At the end of the day, this has been great for me, having previously been in a bit of a rut. It is making me exercise on a regular basis and makes me accountable as I build better habits into my life.

I've really enjoyed working with Smart Body Performance. Reece always checks in to challenge and assist me. I've been working closely with Lacey who has been really supportive over the past 6 months, taking the time to get to know me and tweaking my plan when needed to help me push for my goals. Lacey has shown me grace when I've needed it, without judgement, all while pushing to hold me accountable. I've just signed up for another 6 months and can't wait for the results over this next period. I've already lost apprx 16lbs, my body shape has changed but most importantly my mindset has adjusted.

Personalised, responsive, nurturing & supportive training from the SBP team! This really has been the best programme I’ve joined (& I’ve received a range of previous supports before- none of which held longevity).
I’ve been losing weight steadily over the last 6 months, in a way that’s completely maintainable after I stop. I’ve been so heavily supported by both Lacey and Reece and have received such a personalised and individual support programme tailored week to day, sometimes day to day!!! To add to this, I have valued the community support from fellow SBP members, which has been so motivating to keep going!
Lacey & Reece have always been so understanding and supportive. They’ve helped me make tweaks to the programme when life was life-ing and I couldn't always get to gym/ hit steps or manage diet for holidays/ social events.

Nearly 44 and finally come full-circle!
Honestly, I’m just so grateful I found Reece and the team at SBP. I’d tried so many times to get back on track, and nothing ever really stuck, until now.
I’m a 43-year-old mom of three, and back in 2019 (pre-COVID), I was probably in the best shape of my life until the pandemic hit - thats when everything just fell apart for me. I lost all motivation, and even though I tried working with different personal trainers etc, but honestly i couldn't stick to it. Nothing seemed to work long-term, and I started to believe maybe I just couldn’t do it anymore. Others started to convince me that maybe i must just learn to love my new size?
I found Reece online earlier this year, thank the algorithm gods lol, as thats when things changed for me! Reece's approach to getting me back on track took on a holistic approach. It wasn’t just about handing me a generic plan, but he genuinely took the time to understand my daily habits and lifestyle.
For the first time, I felt truly seen, supported, and held accountable. That consistent support and check-in made all the difference.
Knowing someone had eyes on the bigger picture, helped me stay focused and actually believe in myself again.
I can’t thank Reece and the team enough as this has been a full-circle moment for me.
Turning 44 soon, and now, will hopefully inspire those that tried to convince me to be mediocre.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. The program did not deliver, and the money-back guarantee was not honored. Neither Reece nor Lacey are registered with the Association for Nutrition (AfN) or HCPC, yet they still provide nutrition advice. The service feels misleading and lacks professional credibility. I would not recommend.
After emailing Reece expressing my dissatisfaction with his company and providing a 14 day window to respond he failed to do so. This is a big financial commitment and I’d be very careful with this company! The bank is registered in Abu Dhabi and makes sense as to why now.
All of the good reviews here have been created by clients on the pretence they could win free additional courses. All really misleading.

Fantastic support from both the program and coaches. I can’t speak highly enough about it! I’m on week five and I can’t believe the difference in myself both mentally and physically.
Great decision for health & wellbeing
I've really enjoyed working with Lacey at Smart Body & Performance. From the start, the support and guidance have been excellent, and it's been great to see that the programme really works – I've definitely felt the benefits. One of the things I value most is how well everything has been tailored to fit around my hectic work schedule and other hobbies, making it sustainable and realistic for the long term. I'm really pleased I made the decision to start the programme last year, and even more so to now be renewing for the second time. It's been a worthwhile investment in my health and wellbeing.
