I went with SmartBiz because the Credit Union that my car loan is with suggested them and I trust the credit union. My SmartBiz PPP loan experience for the first round was very smooth and easy. In the second round, I was sent several messages about my loan being moved to other banks and then follow up messages saying that was incorrect. I also received messages about my application being incomplete and then was told I was rejected due to it's incompleteness (it was not incomplete). Workers stopped responding to me via email and then the rejection email said to call their 800 number to follow up with questions. When you call the number, it is only an automated message telling you to email them. I'm sure like everywhere else, they are understaffed and overwhelmed so I'm giving them 3 stars. My first loan process would receive 4.5 stars but the second one was a 1.5-2 at best. Luckily my funding bank ultimately did approve me despite multiple rejection letters from SmartBiz. I only found that out when the money deposited out of nowhere. Whenever I've logged on to my account in the past few months, my loan documents are sometimes available and other times it states that I have no documents. It's just a general mess.

service was the lousiest I have ever seen. I spent 4 months trying to reach you. When I call your number, your voice mail says to contact you Via email. I wrote you several emails and never received a single reply. You are the worst of the worst. You should not be in business. Look are your ratings in the internet. I will not recommend you to my worst enemy.

SmartBiz has truly the worst customer service in the world.

Easy to use platform - other than a message saying we didn't' get the loan when we actually did. In the end it all worked out!

SmartBiz was very active and helpful throughout processing of the application. Staff was very courteous and prompt in responding to any inquiry I may have. I liked working with SmarBiz.

It took a long time and i was sent a rejection letter. I looked in my account one day and saw the money. Since they have been very helpful,

SmartBiz assisted my business needs during this time of uncertainty. I couldn't imagine doing this without their professional representatives.

So this review is to highlight the hard work, patience, expertise and perseverance of Jamison Guy! with Smartbiz Loans. I was having a horrible experience and Jamison was willing to help! I cannot say enough about how much Jamison’s, professionalism and efforts meant to me! I am in hopes that Managers and Corporate, see this review. Jamison turned this from a-1 star to a 5 star experience! no kidding! As a professional it’s important to me when I see hard work like this highlighted!! great communication skills, superb listening skills, great response time, and expertise..

I applied for a PPP loan as an independent contractor through SmartBiz. After receiving a few emails implying things were going smoothly, communication from SmartBiz dropped off. When I followed up, I was informed that my loan was rejected and that it's too late to apply again. SmartBiz did not inform me why my loan was rejected or if it was due to something on my end or theirs. If I had been informed sooner, I could have reapplied with a different company. When I asked customer service why this happened, they did not give me a straight answer or take any responsibility for failing to provide services. SmartBiz has done nothing for me and I would not use it again or recommend it to a friend.

You guys are awesome, when I will receive the 2nd portion.
